Eric Bledsoe & Caron Butler Appreciation Thread
I had ultimate faith in this dude since his rookie year.
Good luck and i'm glad he gets to command his own team.

Good Luck Bled, you & Caron will always get a big cheer at Staples, unless it is in the playoffs.
Thanks!

Consummate professionals these two are. They played their heart out on the court and are extremely tough. I wish both Caron and Bledsoe the best.

Re: Eric Bledsoe & Caron Butler Appreciation Thread
I changed your title azncorruptedo, so I hope you don't mind.
I'm excited that the Clippers are making good moves that will improve the overall performance of the team, but I'm definitely to see both Butler and Bledsoe leaving.
Bledsoe has a ton of potential imo. It was always bittersweet for me to watch him, because I knew that this moment would one day come. I may be a bit biased, but I don't believe that the general basketball audience knows just how good Bledsoe can become and the difference that he makes when he's on the court. In the 2011-12 season, he was coming off an injury and it took him a little while to get adjusted. I remember saying that even if the boxscore doesn't show it, good things happen when Bledsoe is in the game. Then the playoffs came and he was arguably our biggest difference maker. From that moment on, the sky was the limit. I will hate to see him going against the Clippers, pressuring our players and possibly delivering an embarrassing block to one of our guys; but I'm glad that he'll get the opportunity to shine with the Suns.
Butler may have had a little inside information, but he took a chance on us. He turned down more money from some teams and even turned down a more stable and more probable contender in the Spurs to come here. He has his faults, but the guy has strong character. He's a leader and lives up to the name of Tough Juice. When Dallas went on a title run, he was sitting on the sidelines watching while he was recovering from a knee injury. His first playoff series with the Clippers comes and he breaks his hand in the first game. Expected to be out a couple months or so, he wrapped up his hand and toughed it out for us. It wasn't about what he provided on the court, but inner toughness and attitude that he gave the rest of the team. It was war, he was banged up, but he was going to fight through it. I'd prefer to see him on for sure playoff team this season, but who knows how things will end up?
Best of wishes to both of these guys moving forward.

Caron you're a good guy, but you were never worth anywhere near your contract while you were here.
Be safe
Bledsoe, I hope for some big things from you. Now it's your time to shine. Going to miss the fellas!

Re: Eric Bledsoe & Caron Butler Appreciation Thread
Loved Bledsoe, I think every Clipper fan did. He went from a lot of athletic hype to an improving high impact player this past season, and he had two post-seasons where he stepped up with solid performance. Hope the future treats him well.
Butler the guy and player is fine, I liked him, Butler the contract was obviously the issue.

Bledsoe was my favourite Clipper behind Blake so he's gonna be missed.
I love Butlers attitude and toughness, his shooting helped but these things happen. Gonna miss Bled the most though.

Best of luck to Ebled on his road to becoming top 5 PG in the NBA and Caron always gave 100% (when healthy). Both players will always be appreciated by me.

Re: Eric Bledsoe & Caron Butler Appreciation Thread
I'll miss Bledsoe n Tuff Juice.
Anybody who takes a chance and signs with our franchise, knowing the history and talk that comes about our franchise, AND they come in and work to improve us is tops in my book.
Yes, I created an extra prong to exclude the likes of Baron Davis.
I'll miss both.
Clips for life.

Good luck to those guys. Hope EBled gets to start from day 1. He's earned it. And at least we know he'll be healthy, with the Suns training/medical staff.

Thinking of making a goodbye Bledsoe mix. Watched my other one, wasn't enough highlights.
