I wish I would've never even heard Bledsoe's name attached to us at all.

If we just got two 2nd round picks out of nowhere, I wouldn't have cared.

The fact is the deal was available to the Bucks and Hammond couldn't close or get anything out of it.

I would've traded Udoh/Moute/Ayon or even Ersan on top of Redick to get a deal done.

Funniest thing is the guy we just drafted. Youngest player in the draft. skinny, and long for the SF position with a lot of skill and upside

you know, the exact same player we traded for Ayon, Smith and 2 2nd rounders

Good to see Gery on board with us, thought he was a company man, maybe he's coming around. (Or maybe I was totally wrong about him being a company man)

Has it crossed anyone's mind that the Bucks might actually be finally trying to tank?

Well I guess our fear of splurging on our guards should be over. Redick is gone, Ellis reportedly we mutually parted ways with, and Jennings could go either way at this point. But we have to start spending something. Isn't minimum yearly salary like 50M? and we're like 18M under that.

You mean, we received 4 assets for a guy riding the pine. Hambone is a stone cold assassin.

The worst part about this is losing Tobias Harris for two 2nd rounders. Anyone with a computer could have seen that Tobias had potential without making any improvements to his game, to average 18 points and about 8 rebounds a game. He shot the same percentages in college and both years with the Bucks. So Hammond trades him, apparently never bothers to look at a per36 stat sheet and gets back a guy who is about to become an unrestricted free agent and never shown an interest in playing or staying in Milwaukee. Then they don't play him in the playoffs and expect the guy to want to stay? lol.

That was the core mistake for Hammond.

Wow

I also wanted the Bucks to land Bledsoe, but saying I haven't been this devastated as a sports fan since 2001 seems awfully extreme for a player who has talent, but is far from being a lock to be special.

I can think of plenty more harsh things as a sports fan than losing out on Bledsoe.

It's not because of this trade alone, its that I've come to the realization that following this franchise is a massive waste of time. You won't see me around here much more after today, I think I'm done.

Chris Paul should be thrilled with this.

But we could have received Bledsoe for Redick, surely. All that Phx contributes to the Clippers was Dudley. We could have offered a player of equal or slightly better worth and didn't.

Ex-F*CKING-actly!! I can see him studdering now. "Uh, uh, uh, sh-sh-sh-ure . T-t-t-two second rounders sounds g-g-g-g-g-grrrrreeeat!"

It's not like Redick was the only option the Clippers had for Bledsoe. If the Bucks said they wouldn't give more than just Redick for Bledsoe the Clippers probably would just find a different team or would've just kept Bledsoe. What other options did the Bucks have for Redick? No team that was under the cap enough to sign him outright would do a S&T for him. Clippers were pretty much the only over the cap team that really expressed interest in Redick.

True that... Worst part of this trade is that it made people here remember Tobias and looked at getting Bledsoe as making up for that bad trade... If this is Ellis that's traded for 2 picks, I don't see the same reaction.
Bucks fan since day one. Go Bucks!

Basically they bent over but at least the Suns and Clips were nice enough to ask if they wanted some lube first.

Course the Bucks turned that down too.
Nothing will not break me.
