Are you kidding? The exact reason we were successful is we had high character guys like those three to go along with Steph.

.... Not to mention Hedo, Lewis and Jameer all had career years that year. It wasn't exactly a "team of scrubs".
Definitely not scrubs. Role players, but not scrubs. In fact, most of those guys were good enough I wouldn't even say they were having career years. Nelson maybe, but he got hurt and missed most of the playoffs, and was never the same again.

The year they went to the finals, they had 12 guys who played over 750 minutes. Everyone of them had a TS% over .500. 7 of those 12 had TS% over .540.

The next year, they went to the ECF. All 12 players on their roster that year had a TS% of at least .540.

The Warriors would be lucky to have their roster play like those scrubs.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

The main reasons for Orlando scrubs playing so well was Howard.

Yea cuz hedo, lewis and jameer have had such distinguished careers without howard. The only one that's done anything of consequence without howard was lewis.

I still have PTSD from watching Hedo playing in Toronto the year after that finals run. Dwight is the only reason any of those players did anything worthwhile.

Whether they're scrubs or not is besides the point. 2009 Howard and current Howard are totally different entities. Both on and off the court. If you don't think so look at the Lakers latest offer of giving him a TV show. This dude is just going to bring a **** storm upon whoever he signs with.

haha wait so he gets docked for the lakers and rockets offering him a tv show? I highly doubt that he asked to be on a tv show. Otherwise we would have heard he'd be in movies with guber.

You've obviously taken the position of risking all his baggage to go after his talent. Whereas, I think it's not worth the risk and it would lead to complete disaster. That's all there is to it so there's no use arguing anymore.

we're not even talking about obtaining howard at this point. We're talking about him doing tv shows and whether or not his team in 2009 was filled with scrubs or not.

I'm not sure what you mean. you brought up the tv show and you think the reason we won was because we had high character guys.

You field a team with high character guys, i'll field a team with superstars.

Superstars can be high characters guys too. Who said they didn't want superstars?

It's not Howard's fault he was offered a show. If he turns it down to sign with a winner like us that says something. If he stays in LA for that reason it says something too, and a bullet dodged. Win win.

True, but superstars are very difficult to acquire high character or not (especially high character ones). You either draft one and hope you build a team good enough around them for them to stick around or you acquire them if you are one of the few teams in position to do so. The fact of the matter is you need superstars to win in this league and when one becomes available and you are in a position to potentially acquire him then you see what you can do. Which is exactly what the Warriors are doing.

Just trying to get a grasp on gsw don't kill me haha.
If jack& Landry opt out and you miss on Dwight.

How's this look

Gsw - tpe
Mem - rush,picks

I could see gsw saying no to the picks
Or even rush for tpe alone.
