New Poster Here, Been Following for a While

ESPN Boards have told us they'll be shut down on July 17th, so expect to see more posters coming here in the next couple of weeks.

Any 'do's or 'don't's I should know about? Who are some of the more entertaining posters?

Welcome to RealGM. Make sure you bring only the good posters with you from the ESPN board.

There really isn't anyone bad from there. There's one famous troll, Witness_Rondo, who might hop along. But I doubt it.

I would advise to avoid the general board. Mods and fans that post much there are known Kobe and Laker haters.

It's a lot of characters here. But like all families we have our chicken fights and we have our loose cannons too. But it's fun here. And rule number 1 don't post on the GB...it's the land of brainless no basketball IQ having scum nuts. Well at least 85% of them.

95% of them and I agree don't post on the GB, but than again getting suspended by Tsherkin is a rite of passage for a Laker fan on RealGM.

Right now since you're a ballboy, I would say stay away from the GB because you're an automatic target. But the General Boards aren't that bad, since there are a lot of moderators on there. It's gotten better over the years. If you decide to engage in any arguments, be ready to take it and try not to get yourself suspended

Subscribe about the GB...didn't think I'd be able to stay away but I didn't post at all since that Kobe injury debacle(and checking it like once a week,briefly)...that period along with the playoff race was a prime example of what Deep is saying about the IQ of that place

It's not always the same,but events like that show the true colour of posters and it becomes a pissfest of jealousy,ignorance and stupidity
