Definitely little surprised by the years, but he is heart of team. Now have 3-4 left for a shooter.

Excellent news. Would have hated to lose TA as he is the very soul of our team.
$5 million per year is about right for him too after consecutive all defense first team selections and finishing in the top 5 for DPOY over the last two years as well.
I reckon he could have got more elsewhere as well, so this is a great deal for Memphis.

yep, plus trade exception, a combo bayless + prince for deng/granger/e. gordon. More realistic, trade exception for james jones and wait for better trades, or trade prince for expiring players that fit better: butler (dont know if suns want him), ariza, salmons... or just wait and see how this teams plays with the new coach. I still have faith (a little) on prince.
