Bargs, as awful as he has been the last 2 seasons, does still possess more of a potential than all of what we gave up in Camby, Novak and picks... 2016 late first rounder is debatable, but we'll see how Bargs contribute this year compared to someone like Hardaway Jr.

He has been hurt the last two seasons, has he not? Hard to really pin those numbers as being his norm.. Although in the 31 games in 11-12 season he averaged 19.5 ppg.... 19.5. That is a very high number; I don't care what team you're on. Last year; his situation and health, I chalk up to being an aberration more than anything.

If he is healthy... playing alongside a talent like Melo who will have the focus of defense in a way Bargs has never played with.... I think he has the opportunity to do some good. He isn't Stat. The best years of his career aren't far behind him with minute restrictions ahead. He is 27. This reminds me very much of Ray Felton coming off his Blazers season. I'm expecting Bargs coming here will have similar impact.

Bargnani needs to get into better shape. His number on back to backs have been abysmal for years (13.3 points, 39% field-goal accuracy, 31% three-point accuracy). This was even with Bosh around. But he's playing with the most talented team he was ever played on so who knows.

His contract expires soon so he'll be motivated to play well.

Hey. I've shifted from arguing about the deal to messing with raps trolls. Something needs to be done about some of these guys. It's like Jurassic Park up in this piece.
