A lot of teams can use him. I mean, Minnesota can certainly use him to replace Brandon Roy. Or he would fit right in with Chicago. But add all the other issues, I can't see any team willing to give him multi year deals worth the league average and also give him a starting position and also want him to score despite the character issues.

Minny might be a fit but I doubt Chicago would be interested, they're pretty much set at the wing with Deng and Butler and its clear that Jax wants to be a starter.

From http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-o ... g-popovich

“We had a disagreement,” Stephen told Sister 2 Sister about his most recent coach Gregg Popovich. “He wanted me to agree to players being better than me, and I didn't agree. I've been in the NBA a long time, so it's just something I didn't agree with and something I have no control over. He's the coach. He controls who plays, and he controls the team, which I do respect. At the same time, I know what I can do and what I been doing my whole career, and I'm far from ready to hang it up. So, I can't let one person tell me where I'm at 35-years-old. To me, it just didn't make no sense.”

“It was talked about before the all-star break, before the trade deadline…about me not wanting to be here and me going to other teams, but they wouldn't do it then,” Stephen explained. “If they would have done it then, I would be on another team right now.”

“I went to Golden State and helped them get to the playoffs my first year there, and they haven't been to the playoffs in 13 years. I played in Charlotte … and I got them to the playoffs. So, every team I go to, I make them better,” said Stephen, who considers it a blessing just to be in the NBA … and on the court.
“I don't want to be a guy who's just sitting on the bench stealing money,” he said.

I know Jax wasn't playing well this season, but I think he does best when he is working well with his coach and they are in agreement about his role. I think he could still have been useful. Look at what VDN is doing by putting Chauncey Billups in the starting lineup when Bledsoe could easily be there. The bench is extremely potent.

I hope he gets another chance, but I think this might be it for his career.

GL to Jack

I am a fan but I think he shot his own foot. He will have a hard time to find another team next season, especially if he wants more than the min.

Washed up + head-case is a bad combination to find a new home. Ask K-Mart.
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Sorry to bump an old thread but as a bucks fan I'm surprises you guys have this much support for Jackson. The guy had the worst character of anyone I've ever followed. Guy would be partying in the club til 5 am when he had a noon game. Demanded an extension despite not practicing. He basically ruined Brandon Jennings. He pouted a few games and refused to shoot AT ALL when told he was taking too many shots. Guy will never eat more than a nonguaranteed contract. He has been on 4 teams in 3 years and burnt a lot of bridges.

Jack would have showed up when it mattered
Just a must-watch army of possessed ass-kickers laying the smack down night after night after night. People are gonna hate playing the Bulls this year.

Nope and I doubt it happened. Jax got waived because he wasn't happen with his role, he felt he should be starting and getting more touches.
