What I would like someone to do is to lay out their plan for tanking...

Lets say we land Wiggins, ok unlikely but lets say it happens. What is next step? Lets say we land one of portland or detroit picks...

We arent going to win with a team full of guys on rookie contracts...

What free agent are going to bring that is better than Jefferson? Lets be realistic...

The only free agents that would fit us, would be Cousins, Favors, or Monroe who are all restricted free agents that their teams are going to match any offer put out...

I am looking at the free agent class now, and its not looking too good.

Also, what happens when Wiggins has a nice rookie season, but ends up just being a Rudy Gay type guy.... or it takes him 4 or 5 years to reach his potential like Tracy McGrady...

Al Jefferson spent past day and a half with Bobcats. He wants to see where D12 goes before committing bc Mavs may offer if it loses on D12

He will probably go to Mavericks.

That's what I suggested the other day but someone told me that that wasn't realistic spot for him. Not sure who that was who told me that.

Totally using us as leverage.

Can't blame him though.

Good for us to get him in and good for him to give us the time and come in.

I pray the Mavs get Howard then. The Bobcats need a guy like Jefferson.

He was wanting $15 mil/yr. Assuming we did not offer that much, so he wants to see if the Mavs come calling and open the checkbook. If they dont, we likely land him. If Mavs get Dwight tomorrow, then we should have Al.

Cuban needs to blow the mavs up. He's not getting Howard.

Why would Dwight even consider the Mavs over the Rockets or Lakers. I just don't see it.

We just need to re-sign McBob and Hendo and let the young kids play and ride it out.

Yeah not sure Howard is going to Dallas. Houston is a much more enticing place to play. So I still think Mavs could be a possible destination for Al.

He's keeping his options open. Free agents nearly always meet with several teams. His agent is doing his due diligence.
