This guy was Utah's best player and where did he get them? Out of the playoffs, that's where. Same player in Minny, he was very good(all star snub...whatever) but his "stats' just didn't translate to team wins. He'll just be holding back the development of our young bigs Cody and Biz. Give them a whole season to develop under Ewing and run with them as our starting frontcourt in 14-15, the season where we should be making a serious push for the playoffs and start contending in 15-16.
In all, i think Al Jeff will put up some nice numbers, but would it be worth it? No. He may get us 3-4 more wins though. I don't even want to go anywhere near the max for him either.
Very good point on the Cody and Biz comment. We are in our third year of a rebuild, let the young guys play and develop. We don't need to sign Al just to sign him. Seems like that's what MJ wants to do. He really needs to let Cho do everything and just sit back and watch.
