Thomas is a long athletic defender, but that is about it.Should we pursue him since Clark has signed?

He was amnestied, which means teams under the cap get first bids on him.

I've always thought he was real athletic, but if he can't even get minutes on a crappy Bobcats team, I don't think he has it.

Do not want. ....let's not panic just because we lost Clark. You can find these guys by the dozens.

Thomas is garbage, if you want a Clark replacement, Kenyon Martin is likely your best bet.

you probably remembered his days in Chicago. Thomas thought he was Ray Allen when he was in Charlotte.

Tyrus is dumb as rocks, not a good combination with a defensively-soft head coach that is just a recipe for disaster. Oh and he loves, loves, loves 17-19 ft jumpers.

I like Hickson a lot too but I feel he'll be out of our price range.

Sadly but truth, however Jordan bail out Paxson by trade Bobcat's future first round for Tyrus Thomas. :D

Besides us bulls fan shouldn't really complain as Tyrus Thomas pick is from the Eddy Curry trade. (Noah and Taj Gibson are also Curry trade byproduct. There is a diagram of Eddy Curry trade. http://i.snag.gy/7F9g3.jpg  )

Dear god he's been horrid the last two seasons, below 10 PER and ~42 TS%, I rather give the minutes to R.Kelly

The thing is, these types of reclamation projects of once promising players is what's often needed for cap strapped teams like the Lakers. You really have nothing to lose by bringing him in for a year, if it would come down to it.

I'd also take him for the Vet. Min. How bad could he be? He's athletic, long, and young.

Would probably be best as a C in D'Antoni's system.
