If Dwight to Cleveland, is it a threat to Miami.

So lets say in some crazy Universe, Dwight signs with Cleveland, so you have a roster of

Irving
Waiters/Karasev
Bennet/Gee/Clark
Varejao/Bennet/Tristan
Dwight/Varejao

How big of a threat is this to Miami? Pairing a top 5 PG with the best center (the two weakest positions for Miami) and a really solid supporting cast. could they challenge them for the east assuming Varejao is 100% healthy?

You have no one to guard LeBron. Miami would destroy them.

That's a low playoffs seed team.

Not enough experience to be a threat. Dwight and Varaejo are the only ones with significant playoff experience.

Ha---if not in 2013, it certainly would be in 2014 when LeBron bolts South Beach for a return to Ohio.

If Dwight really was thinking about long-term basketball success, he would pick Cleveland. Kyrie-LeBron-Dwight would be the most complete Big-3 in NBA history. The game's best PG, the game's best wing, and the game's best big...all on the same team. Wow.

Gee is one of the better defenders in the league. He matches well with Lebron.

There's a better chance that Kobe Bryant will lead the league in assists than Dwight Howard going to the Cavs.

No thanks. We would just roll with what we have, take the 5th seed in the East, compete in the playoffs, then sign the best SF in the NBA in the off-season after we refuse to pick up Andy's 2014 option.

Varejao/Dwight have a finals appearance under their belt. And experience is overrated, Look how much experience Duncan had when he won his first title.

That would be a damn fine team and although they might not contend for a championship for a year or two would have to give Lebron second thoughts about south beach.

This. It's sad that Dwight doesn't care as much about winning titles as he claims he does. Cleveland gives him the best long-term success. Oh well...

Second thoughts? There is NO chance LeBron turns down the chance to come back to Ohio and play with that loaded team. You think about Dwight and Kyrie but you aren't even mentioning youngsters like Waiters, Bennett, and Thompson.

extremely weak team at the 2/3 since Bennett is in no way a 3.

If they trade varejao for a good shooter/permeter defender, that would be a good team. Not contending though, just too young.

That's a one and done team at best. They would struggle against Miami, Chicago, Brooklyn, and Indiana.

What about Kyrie's Health? People Talk about D-Wades Health but Kyrie hasn't been through a whole season since he was in high school.
