Howad was the player with the most potential in the League when he was with us, now he has the potential to be the player to screw the most NBA teams in the Histroy of the NBA.

Imagine if both the Warriors and Rockets traded several pieces to land him, then he went to the Mavs and failed there. That would be the Magic, Lakers, Warriors, Rockets and Mavs and he still has time to screw up a few more lol

i think we came out pretty good in that deal. got a better offensive Center whos as good as a rebounder as dwight. now if he could only play some very good defense

^^ Wiggins would not be had with that pick, and i am one of the few who thinks we will not get him. We have our shot at him with the team we have and not paying an extra 20 mil.

Also, the 20mil is Beans and RJ alone, not Bogut. They won't have trouble dropping Bogut to a willing team. No one has wanted those 2 all this time and i doubt they can just be flipped. How many expiring contracts were moved last year at the trade deadline? I still don't see it.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

I think we can take on both with our TPE.

TPE is only 17.9. Their combined salaries are 20, cant fit them both into it.

I dont know if/what our other TPEs are currently

How I see GW wanting to do it.

They give up
Bogut and Landry/Rush at 18 Million which fits into our
TPE at 17.9 + 100000
as one transaction.

Problem is I am not positive of the value of the TPE, it may just miss being enough for that combo and you can then make GS use the salary of one of the young guys you want in return for helping them.

Then they trade
Biedrins at 9
Jefferson at 11
for
Hedo at 12 (they can buy out for 6)
AL at 7 ( they can buy out for 3.5)

GS money out 38 mil
GS money In 9.5 with buyouts

Gets them 28.5 million in cap space

They can get more by cutting non guaranteed contracts.

Of course the picks and such would be a part of the deal as well

No way I see Rob doing it without somehow involving one of their young guys in another separate transaction

Hooray for speculation!

yeah we're doing great since he left! Championship contenders/worst record, tomato/tomatoe...

They did a great job of getting the most out of the situation, but it doesn't mean he didn't screw us, with Otis' help, and whoever decided to hired Otis.

especially if they don't resign Jarret Jack, they'd be one Curry's injury away from potential lottery picks for us. And I wonder if Dwight is as durable after that surgery. I hope they're healthy all their lives, I'm just assessing a trade idea.

Like I stated in my previous post, they will not fit into our TPE. 20 million combined salary wont fit into a 17.9 million TPE. My post shows how it can work, but they would really have to make it worth our while...

Walker/sessions
Henderson/Taylor/walker
Kidd-gilchrist/Taylor
Zeller/mullens/biyombo
Jefferson/biyombo/mullens

That's a good lineup, and a 7-8 seed is a lot more than they have been getting to in the last 5 years. That team could win 45 games in the east which might be good enough for 6th seed, and they have the size to give teams problems.

From what I read like a week ago, Mullens isn't resigning with them.

I'm not sure what's the point of Bobcats signing Al Jefferson when they just drafted Zeller and should be tanking. Maybe they needed to reach the min salary? 3 years $41 mill? Wow.

Charlotte is trying to win, why is that a bad thing? they got a great deal on Jefferson, you cant try and stay at the bottom forever

Its not a bad thing but they should actually try to be bottom feeders. Their problem has always been their terrible drafting over the years. They get lucky drafting they can be a playoff team. With Jefferson they can be better than bad but mediocre which is the NBA's no man's limbo land.

based on what i have read u can not combine Trade player exceptions with Mid-level exceptions and so on. it did not say u can not combine 2 different Tpes together when making a trade for 2 players ala Jefferson and Biedrins.

Per Larry Coons CBA facts section 86:

If a team has two trade exceptions from previous non-simultaneous trades, they can't combine them into one larger trade exception. Suppose a team trades a $5 million player for a $4 million player (generating a $1 million trade exception) and separately trades a $3 million player for a $1 million player (generating a $2 million trade exception). They cannot combine the two into a single $3 million trade exception. A rule of thumb is that a trade exception can only be used to acquire a player making up to the amount of the exception plus $100,000.

I could be misinterpreting it, but I am pretty sure you could not combine them to make that trade.
