Wondering what you'll get from Bledsoe?

Post#1 » by mike3 » Thu Jul 4, 2013 1:39 pm

hey guys, clipper fan, huge time Bledsoe fan, just wanted to drop this mix here that I made a while back of Bledsoe, just giving you a little taste of what he'll bring to Phoenix

He was and always has been my fav (maybe only behind Griffin, so 2nd fav but right up there) Clipper since we got him, you'll love his work ethic, his relentless (hence the mix name). Yes he's got a bit to improve on but I think he'll do wonders for you, give him time.

I'll be silently rooting for Suns cause of him :D

Maybe they will let him be in the dunk contest this year so Suns fans will be able to cheer for winning something next year and we could have out 3rd dunk champion.

Like I've said, I have liked Eric for years. Living just north of LA, and hating the Lakers, I watch a ton of Clips games. If he can work alongside Goran, I'll be extremely happy.

The Suns could have their own dunk contest after practice every day with Shannon Brown, Goodwin and Bledsoe.

Perhaps it'll get Brown to stop making terrible shot selection and go for the Hakim Warrick scoring approach of just dunking everything.

Bledsoe and Goodwin should get along well you'd think, considering they are similar players and both went to Kentucky.

So would John Wall and Demarcus Cousins.

2015

Wall/Dragic
Bledsoe/Goodwin
Durant/ Johnson
Cousins/Morris^2
Len/Gortat

I don't think his size matters because of his athleticism and defense. I think he will be put at starting SG with Dragic running the point still and having Marshall off the bench. This is also a reason why we held onto Brown so he can come in off the bench for Bledsoe. Trading Dudley means that Tucker can start at SF. This starting line up will be very athletic and have nice defense/offense.

Dragic/Marshall
Bledsoe/Brown
Tucker/Butler
Markieff/Scola
Gortat /Len

I think that's a solid starting 5 and bench. Our starters will be Run and gun and then our bench will be halfcourt offense; set up plays and feed the big men.

Edit: Forgot we picked up Butler. I think id still like Tucker to start over him based on the line-ups. Starting line-up very athletic and should be very solid on defense. Then Butler and Scola will anchor the bench with their veteran leadership.

See you guys in the playoffs! 8-)

This lineup is really lacking in shooting, although Dragic is better than most people will admit. It really needs a good stretch 4. Keif is a stretch 4, but not a good one. If Frye returns to form of 2 years ago, he would be a great fit.

We still need to trade Gortat. Sure wish we could have gotten Oladipo. He is a bigger, slightly more athletic, slightly better shooting Bledsoe. Yikes.

I really Like Markieffs 3 ball. It looks so smooth and effortless. I think the coaching staff needs to let him shoot more basically like a frye 2.0. They try to get him to bang around in the paint more which is good and he has some explosive plays. But you see him pass up some wide open 3s that I wish he would just unload. I understand he is still young and working to improve his game so he doesn't have a green light like Frye did but I hope he gets there.

As a starter last year Markieff shot 44% from 3pt land over the course of 32 games!!!!!
