It's a weak league.

Has he worked with hakeem yet? I want to see how improved he has gotten and then after sl hes supposed to be at the usa team mini camp so all this experience can only be good for him.

I'm not sure if he has yet. I really want to see some post move improvement and the USA mini camp will be great for him.

Drummond will only play 1-2 games, which is lame to me. Slava will get vast majority of minutes at C in SL.

I expect Siva, KCP, Middleton, Mitchell and Slava to get the most consistent minutes. I hope to see all guys play well but Im mostly interested in KCP and Middleton- I hope they kill it from deep.

Hopefully he doesn't play much. No sense overworking this summer. Maybe let him play significant minutes in one or two games and then shelf him.

He is also invited to Team USA camp or whatever too.

I'd rather see Drummond not play SL and instead we roll out Slava. Dude needs to play to improve.

Game situations can not be accurately simulated regardless of how much practice you do.

It's natural Drummond will not get much playing time in SL. The guys in SL has nothing to lose and if Drummond gets hurt we would all be complaining to why the management even considered Dre playing in the SL. I hope Slava, Mitchell and Siva get all the minutes because it will be interesting to see if their games can translate to the next level. I hope KCP gives a good showing.

I think Dre should play more. He is still pretty raw despite his production last year. I don't expect him to have any reliable post game yet either. However, if Sheed gets hired I think he will do wonders for Dre's game on both ends of the floor.

Yea Brandon did. Was it beneficial for him? I don't think so. The same can be asked about Drummond. What is he gonna get playing in the summerleague? D-league experience? I'll rather err at the side of caution and keep him fresh til season start.

Any game time is good. This is why they practice everyday. Let him play all the games for a nice confidence booster for the USA mini camp.
