"Whats good twitter wheres good to eat in scottsdale lol" Bro you've lived here 5 years, you've asked this at least a hundred times. Stop. Stop.

Yes, you are a jerk saying it.

Goodbye, and good luck, Duds. I fully understand your happiness in going to the Clips. While you were here, you always gave it all, and we cannot complain about any game where you didn't. You knew you were a trading chip this year, and you should be happy that the Suns are sending you to where you can truly get something great.

All the best.

“I’m going to remember the run we made and beating the Spurs in 2010 and being in the locker room with the guys to see the look on Steve’s face and to come home to the fans waiting for us,” Dudley said. “The fans were on fire. Phoenix is a basketball city. I get traded from Charlotte, where nobody was at games, there was a sell-out at my first game against Orlando. I thought I was in college with how great the crowd was.”

“I’m an ideal piece for a team like that,” Dudley said. “You can see the little things I do more on a winning team. No matter how good you are, everyone looks better on a better team.”

His contract made him an ideal catch for the Clippers. Dudley will make $4.25 million for each of the next two seasons before he has a $4.25 million player option for 2015-16.

“Marcin and I understand that, on our team, we have the most value,” Dudley said, referring to his affordable contract. “You just hope that if you get traded, you get traded to a better team. I’ve gone from the Bobcats to the Suns to the Clippers. I’m blessed. Phoenix groomed me to be ready for this. You don’t get to have chances like this to play for a team that could go to the Western Conference finals with a shot at a title, to play with an All-Star point guard and get to use my IQ to make elite players better. I’m going to compete for the starting small forward job. If somehow I don’t become a starter, I’ll become a sixth or seventh man and a glue guy.”

Wish JYD all the best - a guy who took over from Barbosa as the spirit animal of the team (Rsavaj's line, or Tastic's?)

He was the guy who played on IQ and guts, minimal athleticism and enormous heart. We needed 3-pt shooting, he became a sniper. Serious, Ring of Honor contender.

Clipper fan here.

Glad to see all the praise for Dudley. I think he'll fit right in with the Clippers. We needed guys like him and Redick badly.

And good luck with Bledsoe, you guys will LOVE Mr. One-Man Press. If he does start, you'll see him get a triple-double(points, assists, steals) pretty soon.

The Suns locker room now just became a lot serious....we have no more funny, outgoing people in our locker room....

Frye and Marshall are the next funniest...and that's sad :(

Marshall's not funny. He just thinks he funny.

Even so, I think he could take over from Dudley as being the locker room guy.

Everytime I see Kendall tweet about a movie he's just watched, I think of how much that wasted two hours wouldve impoved his jumpshot.

Thanks for everything Jared. You were the definition of a true professional, never complained when you lost your starting job twice, and always worked hard to improve your game.

Over the last 5 years we watched you grow from a little known pudgy guy from Boston College and Charlotte, to one of the best role players in the game. We watched in awe as you and your partners in crime Goran, Channing, and Leandro dismantled the Laker's defence with your threes in Game 4 of the WCF's. The look of dejection on Kobe's face after Leandro hit that corner three is a look Ill never forget.

Through the ups and downs, highs and Lows, you were always the heart and soul of our Phoenix Suns.

For that, we thank you.

Lol I feel the same way about the amount of time he spends on Twitter.

Funny thing he didn't even say goodbye or thank Dudley when he got traded like Frye who said that he was pissed that Dudley got traded.

Gonna really miss the guy. Genuine, funny, articulate and he always played hard and had a good team first attitude.

Consumate pro; good luck in LA JD!

man, Dudley will sorely be missed here with his play and professionalism. It was great to have him on the Suns and hopefully he continues to succeed with the Clippers.

Edit: Just read the big post about Dudley's reaction to the trade & looking back on his time with the Suns
