Matt Barnes re-signs with the Clippers so he's out of the shortlist.

Iggy to GSW. They don't have cap space to get Dwight as well unless they trade Lee/Bogut, right?

Bogut plus Barnes should be enough salary going out to take Dwight. They would probably add picks, too. Maybe Barnes and Thompson? It's still very possible.

Can't help but laugh at Mavericks fans. I remember how annoying they all were a year ago; how the Nets were destined for mediocrity for the next 5 years and how they thought the Dwight/Deron pairing to Dallas was a given... look at us now, and look at them

I only feel bad for Nowitzki and VC. They deserve better than that crappy roster.

Howard is taking his talents to Houston.

Amazing how this guy destroyed Orlando, Philly, Dallas, GSW, LA Lakers, Hawks all in a span of 2 seasons.

Us too...thank you Mr. Prokorov for not letting that happen. Also, your Durant...not only did your team gifted Harden to Houston, now you see him paired up with Dwight on a rival team?

Man im so happy Howard left the Lakers after all those band wagon laker fans all but guaranteed he would resign. Screw you Laker fans. :naaa: Howard should have been a Net but that looks like a blessing we didn't get him.

What are the odds of the NBA fixing Wiggins to LA next year?

Brooklyn:

Williams
Johnson
Pierce
Garnett
Lopez

Clippers:

Paul
Reddick
Dudley
Griffin
Jordan

GSW:

Curry
Thompson
Iggy/Barnes
Lee
Bogut

Heat:

Chalmers
Wade
James
Haslem
Bosh

Spurs:

Parker
Green
Leonard
Duncan
Splitter

Houston:

Lin
Harden
Parsons
Smith
Howard

Bulls:

Rose
Butler
Deng
Boozer
Noah

Pacers:

Hill
George
Granger
West
Hibbert

OKC:

Westbrook
Sefolosha
Durant
Ibaka
Perkins/Adams

Those are off the top of my head but it's clear as day that partly due to the enormous amount of teams tanking for high lotto picks in 2014 & teams going all in for players that the NBA is now full of contender type teams & tanking teams but very few treadmill teams. It's going to be a fantastic season. Again the Howard to Houston & GSW moves have made it that much harder for Durant to get to the finals nevermind win a ring before his 2016 decision...

Who'd of thought that the Clippers & Nets would be the superior teams in their cities in 2014 haha

How about this guys

Terry makes $5,225,000

Lin makes $5,225,000

Next year

Terry makes $5,450,000

Lin makes $14,898,938

I dont see Atlanta looking to take back Lin in a S&T for Asik. If we take Lin we can then use his salary for next year like we did with Hump.

BROOK-LIN

Just saying

So glad we didn't get this guy and I was his biggest advocate:

Ramona Shelburne ‏@ramonashelburne 2m

Lakers source in the meeting with Howard said he seemed to have made up his mind then. Was "emotionless" and wouldnt look them in eye

Ramona Shelburne on Sportscenter: "Nash/Kobe/Howard were alone in a room on Tuesday. Dwight was crying about how Nash/Kobe didn't defend him in the media for playing injured. Nash/Kobe responded that they played injured all the time and that he's expected to play through it."

He would have crumbled here with the type of media and backlash he would have gotten for stuff like this.

It's not a bad idea really but Lin's cap hit in 2014 is $8,374,646 for each year of his contract apparently. It was structured in such a way it would've cost the Knicks/Bulls a fortune in the final year, something like $15m to match the offer sheet.

Still an interesting idea though i think we'd need to add another player or 2 just to get near a legal trade for Lin. Not entirely sure though
