Dwight Howard and his representatives still need to go through details of a proposed contract with the Rockets, sources tell Y! Sports.

Congrats from Philly. I thought for sure GS was going to get him after acquiring Iggy today. If they would have sent Barnes and Bogut to LA I honestly thought GS would have had a better starting 5 w/ Howard than Houston with Howard. But you guys might get JSmoothe now too

Nevertheless, multiple sources tell Y! Sports Howard has chosen the Rockets but is still finalizing details of agreement.

I don't want "sources". I want to hear it from Dwight. This is agonizing.

Congrats. Frankly though I'm mostly happy the Lakers are finally, I hope , getting the shaft. I'm sure the corrupt refs and billion dollar tv deal will keep them relevant but good luck. I'm Impressed by Morey and his long-term planning.

Am I the only guy kind of nervous that he truly hasn't decided? I mean...this is Dwight Howard we're talking about...

ESPN now confirming. You still can't feel secure until Woj tweets.

ESPN has not stolen credit for breaking it. So it has yet to happen

I just saw on ESPN crawl of them taking credit for breaking (giving some credit to USA Today at the ass end). It must be true. Right?

Rockets center Omer Asik has no interest in backing up or playing next Dwight Howard, according to sources. Could force trade.
