Asik + Parsons for Bosh.

Failing that, Joel Anthony + Mike Miller for Asik . Houston could use a bench C and a 3pt marksman, get it done riles.

Though, knowing this forum, you'll have people crying about trading the warden or Mike Miller too.

Have to resign Birdman. Just have to. He's a great fit for the team. Also need to add another 7' center that can play D and hit layups... and we're set.

Bosh's only advantage is hitting that mid range jump shot at 43%.... I can live without that.

I can't live without interior defense and rebounding.

What is a joke, is your homer goggles for Bosh.

By 43 do you mean 53%?

Yeah, Asik for Bosh. He's the LeBron saver. A guy who had one decent season averaging 11 rebounds on a frenetic paced offense jacking up a massive number of 3s who is scheduled to make $15M in 2014-2015. He's not a bad player, but he's not Shaq either. And there's no way Houston trades for Bosh giving up Parsons when Bosh can walk away. He's worth the $5M for next season, but not the $15M after that. There's a reason the Bulls let him walk as a restricted free agent. He's a decent player. He's a great help defender. But the dude isn't going to space the floor. He's Joel Anthony with better hands and worthless outside the paint.

Seriously? Asik is an incredibly smart defender, is miles better than Joel on man-to-man, is able to actually finish, sets great screens and reads the plays well oh and also, he's a 7 footer.

Yeah, he's better than Joel. The question is whether he's worth giving up Bosh. I'd give up Joel in a second for Asik, but that's not the question. The question is do you give up Bosh for Asik plus "pieces" for him.

I wouldn't know because I was spending my time on the official heat forums since before you even registered on realgm.

I mean, if you want to play it like that, my registration date on the official heat forums is before we even won our 1st championship.

So I could hit you with "anyone remember what it was like to talk to fellow heat fans before we ever won a ring?"

Anything more to say?

I have no intention to participate in that discussion. But what I'm saying is that Asik and Joel are incomparable. Asik is in a different league. One of the best low post defenders and rebounders in the game. Joel? A scrub whose only asset is blocks coming from help defense which doesn't make up for his all weaknesses.

Asik is a worse Tyson Chandler whose offense is worse than Joel Anthony. I would fight Riley if he ever made a deal like Bosh for Asik. Terrible just Terrible :nonono:

Except that's no the question. The question was about trading Bosh for him and "pieces". It's pretty funny that out of my entire comment you picked this as a point of contention. He's a good player who thrived under an uptempo offense of outside chuckers. That isn't Miami's offense. I rather doubt he would see anything close to the same success with Miami's offense. He's not particularly athletic, his offense is raw and his one one defense is questionable.

To someone who said chandler has worse offense than Joel Anthony. Wow some people on this board are blind homers to the mac. Joel sucks and no one is taking his crap contract.

I would do Parsons + Asik for Bosh in a heartbeat. Houston will never do it. They value Parsons too much, and rightfully so. But Riley is a loyal guy, he will not trade Bosh after we won back to back, unless Lebron and Wade are ok with. Right now, I think that we will resign the Birdman , sign some veteran to play center and try to move Joel for 2nd
