I'll feel a lot better about this once we hear it from Dwight Howard.

Congrats from Chicago. Houston-OKC games will be fun to watch.

I don't think they would play Asik and Howard on the floor together that much. Neither of them can shoot outside (well, Asik is working on it). They presented Asik as backing up Howard, which is why Asik may want out.

Why are some people still talking about potential S&T with Lakers? Obviously, Lakers may want a S&T so that they don't lose Dwight for nothing. But why would Rockets want to S&T if they can get Dwight for nothing?

The thinking is to move enough salary to sign Josh Smith outright, but I don't think that makes sense for either franchise. Houston does not need to move assets and LA is primed for a 2014 reboot with only Nash on the books. As useful as Lin or Asik would be, I think that the Lakers would prefer the 16 million in cap space.

As someone who used to follow the Rockets pretty closely back during the Steve Francis days (still keep tabs, but not as much as I used to), this is a good day. I think Dwight will surprise a lot of people, especially now that people have lowered expectations from the LA debacle.

Howard and Harden, wow, what a nice one-two punch...

Dwight meeting with LA again, finally, just to talk things over I would hope. His ass belongs in Houston.

Congrats Houston.

Hopefully the Lakers don't pull off a last minute save.

Apparently Dwight Howard just told the Lakers it's 50/50 between them and the Rockets. Just saw it on twitter.

He's meeting with them in person and he hasn't contacted the Rockets FML he's resigning with LA. Just get it over with Howard.
