Best case scenario for free agency after Dwight
Who do you think we have a shot to bring in sign or trade? Wishes.. Is it a blessing in disguise we didn't sign second tier stars (iggy, Evans, milsap, j smooth when that seems to happen). Do we offer one year deals to fill the roster and make a run at a couple big fish to play with our young core of talented guys?
Pistons vs. Warriors in the Finals in 2017 - With KCP hitting a game winner so the Pistons dont get swept.

Now that the dust is settling I really hope we make a run at Smith. If we sign him try a nab Gay and Rondo.

Re: Best case scenario for free agency after Dwight
I think it was an obvious blessing we missed out on Iggy and Smith (I will not call a grown man "smoove"). While they were the two best FA's in Detroit's striking distance, neither of them were an ideal fit for this team.
Joe should offer Teague enough to force him out of Atlanta, and just go crazy and offer Billups a 1-year deal for 9 million or something to hit the cap floor. Wait until a trade opportunity arises that gets the team that kind of small forward they need/want, or a significant upgrade.

It looks like Houston is working a S&T with ATL for him.

Re: Best case scenario for free agency after Dwight
GS needs a big, we need a wing.. Why not trade Monroe/Stuckey for Barnes/Bogut, and then sign JSmith to start at the 4, and Billups to mentor BK.
C: Drummond / Bogut / Krastov
PF: JSmith / CV / Mithcell
SF: Barnes / Middleton / Mitchell
SG: KCP / Singler / BKnight
PG: BKnight / Billups / Siva

Re: Best case scenario for free agency after Dwight
what about kirilenko. not a bad player, and he's not going back to minny. might be the best chance at a quality SF we can get.

I'd do moose and Stuck for Barns and Thompson. I don't think GS would though.

I'd do that in a heart beat, but GSW probably tells us to meet them on the ninth hole at 9 o'clock.
