You're right about adding pieces that would fit D'Antoni better, which is why I think the Lakers need to replace Howard with a stretch forward.

You do if you trade Dwight, it creates a trade exception. Even if you just trade him to Houston for future considerations, you get a trade exception you could use for Bynum.

The only way Bynum returns as a Laker this summer is if he accepts the MMLE.

Which isn't gonna happen.

Dalembert and Camby let out huge sighs of relief that night because Bynum was scoring at will on their asses.

Would absolutely love to get Bynum back, especially since the only way we can do it is with the mini mle or minimum.. I think he'd rather take the minimum for 1 year & then let us use our cap on him than take the mini mle since the mini mle has to be atleast a 2 year deal. But either way he takes that risk understanding that we'll have max money available & if he plays like he did before he'll get a huge contract. I know him staying healthy is very unlikely but IF he does, I still think he has a chance to become the best C in the league.. Come back Drew.

To further that point lakersin4 imagine the love Drew would get if could actually hold up for a season. Secondly he's only to get a max deal if proves he can play. I'd take Drew back, he had times here when he was killing it.

First of all you can't give Bynum the max. and no that ship sailed a long time ago.

Im a Heat fan yes, but I say this without any spite or ill will.

Stop looking at the past and move forward, Bynum's time with the Lakers is up, move on.

If you are not improving, then you are getting worse.

I can respect that. I hope others here don't take your assessment as a diss. But on the other hand some fans here panic way too quickly. My stance on Drew even when he was here was his desire to ball with a purpose. Drew had his faults be he wasn't the attention whore Howard is, most here are going to be 50/50 on trying to get him back but I live in reality and that ain't gonna happen. And for that to happen he would have to want to come back.

But I'm for moving on...that's how I've been with every player that's moved on from here.

We'll be OK.

One of the most refreshing positives about this entire ordeal is not having to watch/deal with a player pouting on the court because of lack of touches...Andrew and Dwight are similar in that respect...

... rather have a C who doesn't need the ball to be productive ... someone like tyson chandler of joakim noah ... just anchor the D and clean the boards ... hustle and finish put backs ... i would eben consider asik ...

So true!!

Having to watch Bynum walk back on defense KILLED me. Watching him complain and commit the stuoid fouls night in night out was sooo frustrating.

Then came D-Ho. Lack of offense, airballs after airballs while shooting freethrows, his lack of leadership and that !@#$ ed smile everytime he would !@#$ up got under my skin.

These two clowns were suppose to be the next Shaq. LMFAO

There is only one Shaq and he commanded respect. He never backed down from anyone or anything. He dominated both offense and defense side of the game. His stamp was game seven of the W.C finals against Portland when he took this team on his back and of course with the help of Kobe and others led this team to a title.

@!#$ both Bynum and Howard!! Im so glad they are gone. Only thing I miss ahout them is the picks we gave up for them.
