Trade with IND
Stuckey, Villanueva, filler( 2nd round pick or one of singler Jerebko) for
Danny Granger + Gerald Green
Sign Jeff Teague 4 years 32 million
Sign Dorell Wright 4 years 20 million
Teague/Knight
KCP/Middleton/ English
Granger/ Wright/ Green
Monroe/Jerebko/Mitchell
Drummond/Kravstov
Dumars gets all the wings he can handle, and if Granger is healthy then the lineup is pretty good, the depth is solid, and we should make the playoffs, if Granger sucks then hopefully we end up back in the lottery with a chance to upgrade, either way were not bound to Granger and we get to rid ourselves of Charlie and Stuckey. If Atlanta completes the sign and trade with Houston and recieve Lin it's likely that we can sign Teague, and Wright is another wing that can help space the floor.

Re: Offseason Plan
None of the players in FA are a good fit for Detroit besides Rudy Gay so who the cares if they get anyone. Im giddy of an inside game of Monroe, Drummond, and Mitchell

I wouldn't even be mad if we don't land any major FA this summer.

Re: Offseason Plan
My offseason plan:
1) Sign Teague & Bynum
2) Trade Stuck & Singler for Granger (BIG cap relief for Indy)
Teague/Bynum
KCP/BK
Granger/Middleton/Mitchell
Moose/JJ/CV
Dre/Moose/Slava
We're a little weak a SG but this is a team I could totally live with!!

Re: Offseason Plan
I'm always surprised in these "off season" half baked plans that nobody ever addresses the fact that Detroit needs a proven backup for PF/C. Mitchell might turn into a steal, but it's no guarantee. I'd like Brandon Wright.
Also, nobody is giving Dorrell Wright a guaranteed 4-year deal at 20 million. I would offer him 2-years, 8 million. Nobody is going to top that amount.
Teague would be an absolute steal at 4/32. ATL would be moronic not to match.

Re: Offseason Plan
JJ & CV are fine off the bench. We don't need to complete the team during this offseason. We can easily get more for them closer to the trading deadline. That said, I like the idea of Brandon Wright. I'd also be very happy with Wilson Chandler but I highly doubt Denver lets him walk.

Re: Offseason Plan
Getting Granger for our scraps would be great, but is it realistic?

Re: Offseason Plan
I'd offer Teague 8 mil a year right now if I were Joe D.
