As a Pistons fan, I would trade Knight/Stuckey for Afflalo/2nd. Pistons could then sign Teague in FA. Teague/Afflalo/Smith/Monroe/Drummond is a great core going forward particularly if Monroe/Drummond develop into All Star level players.

i would do affalalo for 2014 1st top 5 protected and filler

I'm not sure they'd want Afflalo that much. Why would they push KCP out of the lineup if they're looking for 3pt shooting? I think Dumars is going to look to upgrade their starting point before anything.

Afflalo can be a fine SF. they can play Caldwell at SG and Stuckey/Knight at PG.

Even with how low Knight's stock is I doubt they give him up for Afflalo as well. They just drafted KCP and I think he will develop as a nice 3 & D player, there is no reason to give up a young asset for Afflalo. If they want a stopgap sg who can shoot the ball I can see them going after Morrow or Nick Young.

give them a knicks/Nuggets 1st and call it a day

No one ever said that Jameer isn't a better player. Point is that when you are set at a position, you don't start shuffling things around just for the sake of trade. If Jameer really was more valuable, they would have to give up something in addition to moving one of their PG's. Why do that for a marginal upgrade?

It was from what he did in college for me. If we thought McLemore was an elite shooter in college.....Lambo was right there..

He is better then he showed last year in those limited minutes.

Right...I'm saying if that's true then They're dumb. It's marginal anyway so its probably easier just to sign Calderon.

THIS.. Smith is NOT a sharp shooter. This is stupid for Detroit because it solidifies them NOT having a top 10 pick in the lottery. Their pick is top ten protected. So it looks like they have to trade away their 1st rounder in the best draft in a long time.
