A Reasonable Rondo Trade
Boston deals Rajon Rondo, Brandon Bass, and Courtney Lee to Detroit for Andre Drummond, Kyle Singler, Charlie Villanueva, Rodney Stuckey, and a future first round pick. Joe Dumars gets the elite point guard he wants in the four time All Star Rondo along with two solid role players in Bass and Lee while Boston gets a talented young center in Drummond, a good role player in Singler, a future first rounder, and two expriring deals in Villanueva and Stuckey. Overall this is a very reasonable deal for both sides. What do you all think?

Re: A Reasonable Rondo Trade
There's nothing "reasonable" about this. Go back to "bean town", guy.
19 year old Andre Drummond, who has a rookie PER on par with Shaq, versus 27 year old Rondo with a blown ACL, with the same shooting ability as Drummond.
You Boston guys can just give it a rest already. We're not moving Drummond unless it's OKC or Miami offering us LeBron James or Kevin Durant. Short of that, he's not moving anywhere.

We're lucky he didn't want Eminem too.

I'd sanction that deal if we got Mark Wahlberg in return.

I love your passion but this sounds like an acute case of homerism.

What is so hard to understand? He is easily in the top 10 in terms of trade value. What most Boston fans feel about Avery Bradley is what you described.

Shaq averaged 23.4 points per game in his rookie season, Drummond averaged 7.6 points per game. I understand we have to factor in age and minutes, but still, COMMON! Andre Drummond should not even be in the same sentence as Shaquille O'Neal.

Avery Bradley can become a pretty good player but his ceiling might be Arron Afllalo 2.0, not MIchael Jordan. Anyone who believes he's going to be an amazing player is not operating in reality.

I said, their PER was similar, not their averages.
But, that's cool.

I hear ya, I was just citing their averages to show it's a little bit of a stretch to even compare their PERs, that's all.

I understand that. But, Drummond didn't really get an opportunity to put up big numbers. In the few games he did start before the season was over he had a 29 pt 11 rebound game. He's probably the most athletic big man in the game right now, and has a great attitude and desire to get better.
Considering that he's on a rookie scale contract for another three seasons, he's easily one of the best deals in the league right now.

Re: A Reasonable Rondo Trade

Honestly, do you guys even want to sound reasonable anymore? We should just end all Rondo to DET talks just so that their fanbase doesn't come here and make proposals like this.

Didn't Drummond set a record this season for quickest double-double for a rookie/player or something?

We should just have an outsiders trade thread. Then the mods can just lock these.
