Fab Melo has shown little progress after a full year in the D-League. Is it safe to say it was a **** awful pick now?

Hav u seen how big melo is? That alone puts him in he roster. Kid was k in d league. I am think he can be a backup center who can block shots, rebounds a bit and sets picks.

Keep him. We got to go somewhere else to get a starter.

More importantly all within the flow of the offense, and it never looked like he was forcing the issue.

Pressey finished better than he started. Hopefully it's just nerves for him. Moves his feet very well on defense actually I thought. If he ends up in Maine I won't be surprised but unlike most guards I've seen play in the Summer for Boston he has a skillset that's worth hanging on to.

Really impressive start to their NBA career for KO and Iverson. As previously stated, Summer League is usually dominated by guards and these 2 are still shining.

K.O. & Colt, need to play the Vegas League too. hope they can get with some team, just to get in the experience. These two make the team. Melo? Can we trade him?

what's wrong with Melo?

I'd try to develop Olynyk as a Center if I'm Boston, he's going to be a liability in Defense as PF

I'm thinking of trying to get him to gain lower strength, and become a Marc Gasol.

Not yet. Definitely still too early. Summer League is normally not a good place to judge big men at all. KO and Iverson are playing well but they have more ball-playing experience than Melo. I'd still like to reserve judgment until after this season.

Just play. Olynyk is a scorer. Hated it draft night, liked it more when I got over hair and actually did some research. Love it now.

All off nba sets and in the flow. He isn't getting garbage points.

I don't think he's built for NBA C's. Imagine him sticking Dwight, Bynum or Hibbert? Wouldn't be pretty. I'm more comfortable with him guarding 4's. Specially since he's 7 ft tall he could probably shoot over a whole bunch of them.

17pts at halftime, he is proving all of the people that said he cant make it in this league wrong, im not saying that the summer league is he actually Nba and lebron plays in it, but he actually has pressure on him like he would in the Nba

Exactly, nothing lucky about those shots.

From watching him, he can get his knees over his feet at times in the defensive crouch, thus leaning a bit forward too much. But with work on his body, I don't see why he can't be an adequate defender. Needs to bulk up a bit more, of course. But I really doubt Olynyk is going to spend any time in the D-league.

Btw, rondo if he stays, is going to make olynyk a rich man. A shooter with that size and finishing ability? Olynyk and rondo are a perfect match as a tandem skill wise.

The refs are auditioning too. Gotta make the brass happy from the early stages.
