This would have been an easy win if we had decent guards.
Pressey, Granger, Fells, Johnson-Odom all have no chance at making the NBA.

He's done that twice now. Just pass it or let it fly, no sense in trying to take your man off the dribble if your not fast enough.
I don't have a problem with that. He grew up as a PG before his growth spurt. He has above average handle for a man his size. It's actually a legit part of his game and when a play breaks down I'm kinda glad he can do that.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Is certainly an opportunity for posters to get mad at refs.
Agreed. Obviously their checks are written by the Magic for this league.....

Courtney Lee is going bye bye because of his contract.
Mitchell would get a spot cause of his performance in the D-League last year and his athleticism.
Settle down bro.

Griffin is really versatile offensively too when you give him the ball and let him decide.
The problem is with Paul handling tht much, he's playing off the ball, and he's not good at that.
Griffin isn't that efficient imo, i see him brick a lot when he is pushin it offensively in the paint. Plus he is more a highlight player with his dunk, which are overated most of the time.

Fab doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Really hurts him when he tries to finish.

Re: NBA Summer League 2013 Thread/Game 1, 7/7 11 ET
Once again, my comments have nothing to do with this game.
Mitchell should make the squad cause:
1. We are rebuilding.
2. We need to do everything possible to rid ourselves of Lee's contract
3. His fantastic D-League play last year..
4. He is super athletic.

It's summer league and you want to cut an NBA player for a Dleaguer because he had a nice put back. Do you even know that someone has to take Lee's contract for him to go bye bye? Courtney Lee is not going bye bye..sorry. Even if we could get rid of him I'd still take his 5 million over Mitchell for chump change..there's a reason one has a contract and the other doesn't.

Melo is dumb as rocks, olynyk on the other hand has intelligence, the ability to learn and to improve his game. He can score from anywhere, good face up game, jump shot, dude has it all on the offensive side, just has to toughen his game up, work on defense and stamina. Dude looks exhausted after a few minutes.
But all in all, Olynk will be golden, he has all the tools necessary and intangibles.

Apparently some don't get the idea of rebuilding.
