I feel like that's a word that's going to be associated with Burke a lot, often preceded by a "below".

Agreed, but same rules apply to Burke that apply to Dipo. Its game one of summer league, some adjustment required.

Yeah, but Dipo stood out and made things happen...both good and bad lol. I have to be searching for Burke :-?

Haha, know exactly what you mean. Been saying "where is Burke?" all game.

Yeah I was really impressed with him too. Hennigan and his scouting team are amazing, I mean getting him and O'Quinn last year from two late second round picks, that's impressive.

I'm not saying he was horrible. I'm just saying he's not the answer at PG. So why waste time developing him there? He can still develop his game at SG. But forcing him to run the offense? Not only is it going to slow down his development, but when our whole offense looks sloppy and stagnant, it's going to slow everyone's development on that end.

Because ELITE shooting guards can do all of this, it needs to be in his game, only good can come out of that even in spurts.

I am not saying do it through the season, I am saying completely through summer league.

You'll probably get what you want. Agree to disagree. But when the PG struggles, the whole offense struggles. And Dipo's game isn't the only one that needs to develop right now.

And people throwing the word "hating" around, either need to come up with a more appropriate word, or reply directly to who you're talking about because I'm not seeing much hating going on. Just making some observations. People who wanted him to be our PG, don't hold your breath.

Hennigan gets KOQ and Osby in the 2nd round, Otis Smith trades 2 second round picks for Justin Harper...yea we should feel good about our situation

A solid 2nd pick... not even close

He cant create off the dribble, he's a SG, he can't create space for his shot, and is not able to get inside unless he has space in transition.

I just don't see it, there is room for improvement of course, but he's almost a done product...so.. not so sure.

Its a safe pick of course, and he'll contribute, but maybe a poor pick when all it's said and done.

why is he almost a "done product"?

I can agree with this 1000%. Only thing is what other option do we have on this summer league roster at PG?

That is why is say let it go through the SL games. Who are we gonna play there? That sorry #22 kid who will be cut in a week?

What a terrible game from the offensive standpoint.....WOW.

The Heat are just a bunch of athletic guys running around not having a clue what to do

Yeah, getting bored. Gorbert seems okay, Burke has done nothing and the heat are terrible.

Lol why does everyone keep complaining about people "hating" on Oladipo? I saw maybe one or two posters "hating" on him, the rest seemed to pretty much agree that he played great d, had some nice takes to the rack, made his jumpers, and had some glimpses of PG skills but still needs work in that area. Sensitive fellas..

Anyways how has Burke looked?? Haven't had a chance to watch

Oladipo really stood out, so did Harkless, O'Quinn, Nicholson, Osby, and McGruder. Nicholson had a lot of crowded paint but still had the 2nd best +/-, the 2nd most Magic FT's, and a few very close misses. They threw some doubles his way because he was backing down with power, and getting to the line from down low.

O'Quinn was a beast, I love his game. I call total BS on his 2 AST, I think he either had 3-5 AST, or I missed the fact that his a lot of passing were hockey assists instead. He had a great high post command, to pass from smartly and roll down into the paint. His mid range jumper betrayed him today, but he didn't let it hurt him by finishing 3-6 fg.

Osby and McGruder were just statistical beasts for their lower minutes played. Great starts for them.

Will be interesting to see if they bother playing T12 at all, and the rest of their deeper Magic team. Maybe they play all of them tomorrow, either way, I hope Oladipo gets his minutes every single game.

Because it's frustrating not being able to express your legitimate concerns about him without being piled on by everyone. Then you're called a hater, even though you are posting your opinions and backing them up with your reasons like the other guy did.

Burke looks terrible.
