I saw maybe one or two posters "hating" on him, the rest seemed to pretty much agree that he played great d, had some nice takes to the rack, made his jumpers, and had some glimpses of PG skills but still needs work in that area. Sensitive fellas..

Anyways how has Burke looked?? Haven't had a chance to watch

Tenative, un-athletic, uncomfortable. He's got 5 and 2 assists, only 1/6 shooting. I expect he'll get better, but right now, not good.

I can agree with this 1000%. Only thing is what other option do we have on this summer league roster at PG?

That is why is say let it go through the SL games. Who are we gonna play there? That sorry #22 kid who will be cut in a week?

Haha, that is true. As much as I liked what I saw from Osby, I really wish Hennigan found a way to draft a PG. I was hoping for Siva in the 2nd round.

Good game, summer league is so much more fun when you actually know the players, its basically our regular season team, lol! Shame Tobias didn't play

Oladipo - Great game, most noteworthy was the 3pt shot, looked good, knowing how hard he works, I don't think his shot is gonna be a problem. Not sure he's our answer at PG though

Osby - Looks to be another great 2nd round pick by Henny! Wow, really impressed! What is his position though? It looked like he was playing PF, guarding the big men of Boston.

Harkless - Definetly looks bigger, but seemed like old Moe, didn't notice anything different but it was tough to judge

Nicholson - horrible game, still can't defend, and missed almost every shot. He made some nice moves though, hopefully he bounces back because he's supposed to be destroying these guys.

O'quinn - Quietly had a good game, don't mind him being our 1st big off the bench.

Lamb - Didn't notice him much, but he hit his shots. We know he can do that.

Jones - I didn't notice him at all besides the great alley-oop dunk, and offensive foul. I wonder if he'll make the team this year

Just watched the Magic game... great first game for Oladipo. Out of position with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Opening the game with back to back threes is a nice slap in the face to those who said he can't shoot. I don't know how consistent he will be with that three in his first year in the NBA, but it's still a good sign. He also got to the line more than anybody. Can't say I'm surprised with the amount of turnovers, but let's see if he can cut those down over the course of the week. I don't think he will be our PG of the future, but this week will give him good experience with handles and at dominating the ball. I like him as a SG.

Harkless seemed about the same, just slightly bigger.

Andrew Nicholson looked awful. Really disappointed he couldn't score since that seems to be his only strength. Still looked like a sloth when running.

I like this Osby guy. He reminds me of O'Quinn last summer league, but with more moves.

Lamb looked scared and struggled early with mistakes, but made up for it with threes and some late assists. He still has a lot to work on before he can be a solid backup PG on a good team imo.

Nice beard, O'Quinn.

Jones still sucks. Athletic freak who can't finish enough to be a solid contributor in the league, at least not yet.

Bummed Harris was injured.

Good win, let's get that summer league championship!

wade played a ton of point guard his first year in miami. it only stands to reason that wade 2.0 should do the same. the people complaining about vic at the 1 need to get with it already. this kid is gonna be a star. bank on it.

Interesting that Durant's only tweet during summer league has been about Osby being awesome.

Kind of off topic but i love that Durant is so engaged. I know he attended past SL's and it's not even his team's squad and he is commenting. I just wish some of our vets tweeted encouragement to the young guys and showed support like that.

oh, and lol at Kyle talking smack. how KG of you Kyle

I think the Dipo-Wade comparisons are more accurate then the Westbrook ones. Yes I know this is one game....and a summer league game at that. But I don't think he has the same speed and quickness as Westbrook. But I really liked what I saw, and I was one of the ones who wasn't overly thrilled about the pick. Oladipo is going to be a stud

Steve Kyler ‏@stevekylerNBA 15m
Magic forward Kyle O'Quinn was relentless in his trashing talking directed at Fab Melo, clearly rattled Fab.

RT @mahamer90: do share ---> really not suitable for Twitter... its was ruthless.

Man, I need quotes now.

Look, I didn't want Oladipo, but you guys bashing him and giving Drew a pass is just shameful. Drew has had 2 summers and a season of NBA basketball and goes out there and is 1-9 and has like 3 rebounds. Dude looks awful. AWFUL. Oladipo goes out there and plays out of position, gets 5 steals, and has the most assists in the game. Did he turn it over? Sure. Is his PG play perfect? Not even close. But could we be consistent on the hate at least please. Next person who protects Drew for the worst summer league performance ever and bashes Oladipo should be banned off our forums for a year.
