I'm sure Durant knew him when he played at Oklahoma.

Durante went to Texas

I think he meant Durant knew of Osby when Osby played at Oklahoma, since Durant plays for OKC.

Osby played his college ball 20 miles away from OKC.

Drew has had 2 summers and a season of NBA basketball and goes out there and is 1-9 and has like 3 rebounds. Dude looks awful. AWFUL. Oladipo goes out there and plays out of position, gets 5 steals, and has the most assists in the game. Did he turn it over? Sure. Is his PG play perfect? Not even close. But could we be consistent on the hate at least please. Next person who protects Drew for the worst summer league performance ever and bashes Oladipo should be banned off our forums for a year.

First off, as other people said, I don't see anyone bashing Oladipo. I've been pointing out some flaws, saying he's no PG, but that's it.

Second, I'm not going to judge Nicholson on his summer league play. Yes, he had a bad day but he's played in NBA regular season games. The guy has proven to me he has a place in the league on a higher level than SL. Oladipo has not. It's two totally different situations.

But I don't think he has the same speed and quickness as Westbrook. But I really liked what I saw, and I was one of the ones who wasn't overly thrilled about the pick. Oladipo is going to be a stud

he even kinda sounds like wade. not so much the accent, but his tone and rhythm of speech. all he needs now is some facial hair.

For real Nicholson looked god awful. His body transformation is coming along, but his D and effort was pretty atrocious. And please someone find Westbrook's 1st summer league stat line. Turnovers in summer league means NOTHING. Most of these guys have never even played a game together

Man what an opening game in Summer League

18 pts and 18 also from Osby

Gone are the days of bad picks

In Hennigan I trust
"That's my bread & butter, if I wanted to play basketball growing up I had to guard the best teams best player and get stops" -Oladipo on his D

Drew had a very good summer league last year and has already had success at the NBA level. No need to freak out over a bad game.

And no need to bash Oladipo either, which I don't think anyone is doing anyway. Showing skepticism over his point guard abilities, sure, but otherwise pleased with his game. And ultimately it doesn't matter, since the point guard thing is only a "may as well" experiment in summer league anyway. Maybe if he does it fantastically, it expands beyond summer league, but for now, that's all it is.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

A bunch of interviews are up on the Magic's website now. Here's a link to Moe's.

Can't believe somebody asked a Dwight question! Love how Moe responds though, with just a simple "no" and looks at him like he's crazy.

Game 1: 7 for 13 shooting, 4 boards, 5 assists, 1 turnover, 18 points

Westbrook was one of the standouts in Orlando, averaging 16.5 points, 3.5 assists and 1.5 turnovers while shooting 50 percent from the field in four games.

I could have sworn I read something somewhere that said he averaged 8 or 9 turnovers in summer league, but it's not at all true.
