In my scenario, we're getting a pick for Bogut, not giving one up.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

Yes and that is what it should be. I was just responding to a few that believe we need to package something with Bogut to trade him. I think he has real value to a few teams

I think Atlanta and Cleveland are realistic landing spots for Bogut.

Trade 1
GSW out: Bogut Rush
GSW in: TPE future 2nd

Cle out: TPE future 2nd
Cle in: Bogut Rush

Trade 2
GSW out: Jefferson 14,16 1st
GSW in: TPE

Phi out: TPE
Phi in: Jefferson 14,16 1st

Trade 3
GSW out: Biedrins
GSW in: Landry Fields

Tor out: Fields
Tor in: Biedrins

The net effect is 33 million of salary removed and we keep our core together. Considering the team we'll have once we sign Dwight I'm sure we can pick up some ring chasers that could contribute for the vet min.

Dre for Fields is disgustingly bad for us Landry makes 6.2 mil to Andris 9, would trade no expiring contract in the league for Landry Fields.

David Lee to Milwaukee for Ersan Ilyasova and Ekpe Udoh. I really like the idea of a stretch 4 on offense especially with Iguodala now and we know from the playoffs that Lee isn't essential. Udoh would cover the loss of Ezeli. Trade would also clear about $7M off 2014 cap (approximately enough space to offer a max contract w/o any other long contracts added).

i like the idea of ersan... he's young versatile and can play d for a stretch 4. not the most common skill set. bonus that it would give all the udoh fanbois a raging woody.

someone else mentioned tyrus thomas on another thread. i'm really intrigued by that knucklehead.

If we could ever get Milwaukee to agree to this, I'd drive Lee to the airport myself.

Neither Ilyasova nor Udoh...REBOUNDS and both are mainly tweeners useful off the bench and not legit starters. Landry would fare better as a starting PF than either. Meanwhile....whatever he Bucks intentions are...they seem to be fine with bleeding talent to cut payroll and likely want young and CHEAP...or picks.

With Ezeli injured and Landry evidently going to Sac...GSW MUST get at least ONE rotation level big....because Bogut and Lee have damn little backup aside from Dray Green playing some PF. The Utah deal did dump a lot of $ and created TPE options. However...GSW now has no picks to swap until...well...forever. GSW also has no depth guys to swap....so....unless they deal Klay or Barnes they can't put together much of a package beyond
cap space and some minimal rd 2+ cash. With Landry probably lost...GSW can shop the MLE level FA's.
CENSORED... No comment.

What about sending Harrison Barnes to MIN for Derrick Williams and lotto protected 2014 first rounder???? MIN needs a SF and GSW needs a defensively adequate PF. It opens up the possibility of sending Lee away: maybe to TOR for Derozan and Fields? Or maybe Lee + Klay to TOR for Fields, DeRozan and 2014 top 10 protected firts rounder?

We should be looking at getting better, not dumping our talent.

Respect your elders. Rem is old enough to remember when the Warriors actually played defense.

Why do you say Ilyasova doesn't rebound? For his career, he's averaged 9.5 rebounds per 36 minutes. Lee has averaged 10.1 since coming to the Warriors, 10.5 overall. I'd agree that Lee is a better rebounder, but that's not the same as saying Ilyasova "doesn't rebound".
