2013 Fantasy Football

Post#1 » by Reddeye » Sun Jul 7, 2013 8:39 pm

Training camp isn't far off. Give your sleepers, busts, guys valued too high or low, etc. Post your teams after you have drafted including you league size and set up (Standard, PPR, etc)

A couple guys I like right now, but their stock is rising.

Shane Vereen in PPR. NE is using him some at WR. He should get the 3rd down work now that Woodhead is gone.

Lamar Miller - He is going to be the guy in Miami now that Reggie is gone.

Wonder if we could get a RealGM league going?

There is at least 1 for sure that has been ongoing - I can't recall if there was a 2nd one or not.

I've always brought up if anyone wanted to do a $ REALGM league, I'd be open to commish that. Never seems to be enough interest though.

Last year was the first time in a while I didn't play in any leagues at all, can't say I really missed it, just a personal choice but I liked just watching the games to watch them.

Normally I'd be down for a $ league, but I've come to the realization that any more than 2 leagues is less than ideal. I run a keeper league with my high school friends and am in another league with my law school friends. I used to be another league as well and 3 leagues is just too much, both because of time constraints and because it's annoying to win in one league and lose in another because a single player goes off.

I renewed my league and the invites have been sent out to those who played last season. Ill give it three weeks and then open it up to new players.

I think this is going to be my last year in Fantasy Football as well.

It has become more of a chore than something I can just do for fun.

Has anyone had trouble connecting the Y! FF Draft servers? Tried to do a mock this afternoon and the draft server froze while loading multiple times. Cleared cookies, switched browsers, etc to no avail.

Last couple years my FF has gone out of control. Last year I had 10+ teams and spent like $180. I was even drafting at this time last year.

Today I had to cancel my espn insider before it renewed and I forgot all about FF. Such a inconvenience. I plan on becoming normal and having 1-2 FF teams max from here on out.

I would love to get on a realgm league but not looking to spend money.

If open spots pop up, I'd be in. If I was in a league of yours previously, ignore the old ID or email. I had too many over at Yahoo over the years and I couldn't keep them straight. Just made a new one this morning for fantasy sports.

What do you guys think of Larry Fitzgerald this year? Carson Palmer isn't great but he's the best QB in Arizona since Kurt Warner retired. I have to keep Fitz in one of my keeper leagues because my pickings are slim, but I'm somewhat optimistic about his production this year. It's kind of sad how much of his career is being wasted away because of the absolute garbage Arizona has put under center.
