In a good way or a bad way?

well I don't think he's a bad prospect, but I think there were better prospects that should have probably gone ahead of him. Much like BC did last year, I think they made the pick for fit more than anything else, and it will likely come back to bite them.

Yeah very similar situation. Not sure who else would've been a good pick for Det...maybe MCW (not sure why he was so overlooked).

I for the record loved the Ross pick and I think he will come good for us.

He was overlooked because he's not that good. Scored a lot of points today but went 8 from 23 from the field lol.

I was thinking of MCW as well since it appears Brandon Knight has established himself as scoring guard more so than a lead guard. He's at his best spotting-up jumpers and coming off screens so it would have made more sense to draft a PG that can find him as he plays away from the ball than another spot-up jumpshooter which KCP is. Plus, with MCW they have the luxury of a PG that can defend bigger 2's when they don't want Knight getting abused.

Didn't see that...think he has good playmaking ability and defensive ability. Not to mention great size for a PG. Shot is definitely a work in progress lol.

He was overlooked because most of the teams drafting in the top 10 already have their PG position locked not because he's not good. If he can develop that jumper he'd be Penny Hardaway.

DET pulled a BC with the KCP pick. Drafted for need with a 3/D shooter over more talented players, except it wasn't even that great of a shooter (KCP wasn't in the top 15 in the draft in either 3P% among players who took them regularly or FT% and he got taken 8th almost solely for his shooting ability, add that together)
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Was knight abused last year? There was that debate between knight and walker, I would choose neither.

Looks like Drummond still can't stay on the court long enough without getting tired.

Big time presence on the defensive end. Also rebounding very well. On the offensive end he is unstoppable under the rim, lots of dunks. Still hasn't shown a back-to basket game that well and FTs still horrendous.

So he's still the same player as last year? Has he shown anything new in his game at all?

Pretty much but he's attempting to create offense much more, still pretty raw.

He seems to have better footwork in the post but honestly just doesn't have the talent to finish anything that's not under the basket.

Drummond should just focus on his FTs more than his back to the basket game. He could be a very good face up guy however with his speed and footwork. I'd rather see him work on that.
