Gigi Datome almost a Grizzlie

Gigi Datome has a one-year, $900.000 offer from the Memphis Grizzlies, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian forward was drawing interest also from the Celtics but in the last hours it seems that Boston is out of race for Datome.

Gigi Datome has till August 1 to opt out of his contract with Virtus Roma (he has one year left).

Datome was named MVP of the Serie A Regular Season and ended the year averaging 16.4ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.7apg in 48 games. http://www.sportando.net/eng/usa/nba/58 ... atome.html

Yea, that and can play 3 at times.

Actually is quite the opposite, he's a 3 that can play strech 4 from time to time.
