Olynyk seems to be the only talent on this summer team, it's going to tough for him here on out. His game would be much better with a decent guard on the team.

Game 1 thread had about 32 pages. Why are we including the game 2 thread in this thread. Game two should have it's own thread.

Guard play is gonna be tough to watch. Gonna be interesting to Drummond vs Olynyk on a couple plays.

I hope Pressey gets his **** together, cause from what I read Smith wont play, he has calf injury...
Good assessment:

It was later revealed that Smith had suffered a tear below his calf, but his achilles tendon was not injured.

The injury should keep Smith sidelined for the remainder of Summer League action, but Yannis Koutroupis of Hoopsworld reported that Smith is still likely to receive an invitation to training camp with the Celtics and first-year head coach Brad Stevens.

Looks like the Summer League is Pressey's time-to-shine.

If OP is ok with it, I would do one.

I doubt any of them wins a spot on the team, but Granger showed more than Pressey.

pressey and mitchell are the only guys in summer league who have a shot at being invited to camp.

Just watched the game a few hours ago and I wanted to write down these thoughts about our 3 " most important players " in the summer league.
Kelly Olynyk - great offensive game, shoots the ball very well and also the 3ball, I think he's a very good passer for a big man, knows how to use his body for offensive rebounds even though he doesn't jump much and he brings a fair amount of energy on the court.
negatives : he got pushed a couple of times by Andrew Nicholson but he showed he can learn and improve his 1on1 defense. Those short arms will not make him a shotblocker and he really needs to improves his defensive rebounding.
Fab Melo - he really improved from last year, nice form on his jump shot, developed a jump hook, very good from the FT line. His blocking ability is still there and his defensive rebounding improved and physically he looked great.
negatives - still learns how to play the game, doesn't know how to pump fake ( got blocked twice in the second half just because of this ), doesn't know how to use his big body for positioning and he doesn't play with energy.
Colton Iverson - energy guy, can rebound both defensively and offensively and can block shots. His stat line doesn't show it but his impact on the court was there.
negatives - offensively he didn't brought anything, still need to see more of him to know his flaws.
From the other guys, just Pressey stood out for me but that's just maybe because he was the smallest guy on the court. He shot the ball very well, mediocre passing but great energy.
