Rumor: Hawks-Bucks switching PG
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_ ... ing-guards
In my point of view the deal between Milwaukee and Atlanta sounds solid...
Larry Drew could work with Jeff Teague again and the Bucks could keep the money of the Jennings offer!
The Hawks add an upgrade on the PG (as I said, my point of view)!
Only rumor I doubt is the Monta Ellis-Sacramento case... Maybe the Kings go for´m but I think they should go on with Ben McLemore on the SG and I doubt Milwaukee would accept a s&t with Marcus Thornton because the Kings won´t have three SG´s on their roster!!

The Hawks are imploding. The Bucks are improving at every position and working to become a perennial 6th seed in the east for the next 5 years.

Bucks would win in this deal, but I can't believe how they can be so content on being a perennial treadmill team year after year.

Milwaukee wins in the trade. Does Atlanta get draft picks or something?

I hope 1 of Jennings or Monta doesn't do anything before they announce what the tax apron will be.. Siince Dwight left, Lakers will most likely be able to get below the apron just by amnestying MWP. Once we do that, we can receive players in sign & trade.. Jennings or Ellis + Larry Sanders for Pau needs to happen.

Sounds dumb, but on the other hand the Bucks like to make dumb moves. this off season has made the least sense of any off season in the last decade.
How about Nash for Jennings?
With all the weird moves, seems like anything can happen now a days.

So the Lakers have a time machine capable of bringing back 2008 Pau or something? Does Kupchak have racy, revealing photos of Bucks GM John Hammond? No? Then the only acquisition that needs to be made here is one which has you attaining common sense.

I can not see why Atlanta would want either Jennings or Ellis. We are supposed to be working the SA model of highly efficient basketball with high IQ. None of those things apply to Ellis or Jennings. Both are two incredibly inefficient chucking machines.

^ Either Ferry sees something special in Ellis or Jennings, like the Spurs saw in Parker, or he is playing for the draft, like what SA did way back to get Duncan.

Those guys have talent, I think with some good coaching it's possible. They certainly would look good in SA so if the coach emphasizes similar things like ball movement it could work, and Millsap/Horford is a great starting point for the offense, love that frontcourt. Smoove for Millsap is a win for Atlanta IMO, much less chucking, higher IQ

this is the exact reason why everyone hates Laker fans, because the assumption that people will give away value for their golden crap..

Believe it or not that is a win for the Bucks... Jennings is a cancer.

Re: Hawks-Bucks switching PG
Initially, I wanted no part of Jennings, but I like this deal the more I think about it. We would be able to surround Jennings with above average shooters at every position which would allow him to cause havoc in the paint and then dish the rock. The main thing Atlanta is missing is a player that can create off the dribble and has the potential to take over a game. Jennings would fill this need for us. Teague is way too passive and it would be nice to have someone who looks to take what he wants instead of settling for what is given to him.

Jennings dish the rock? haha you can't have ever watched Jennings play. The last time he passed the ball Magic Johnson was still HIV Negative.

It's funny how both Hawks fans and Bucks fans are thinking they are upgrading PG by swapping Teague for Jennings.

I feel like Teague has a higher ceiling than Jennings does. Plus he's like 10x more consistent.
Atlanta is building a weird team..

My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.

Teague consistent? He has way too many games where he just cowers in the corner and looks like he doesn't even care to be on the court. He seems to lack confidence at times. With Jennings, he is going to think the 10th shot is going in even if he missed the first 9. He can be an inefficient chucker but I think Coach Bud can reign him in enough. I would much rather have a guy like Jennings, with supreme confidence, than a guy like Teague who can disappear in games.

Supreme confidence?
Have fun with that when Jennings shoots 3-19. Or the games where he refused to shoot the ball. The guy is just a plain headcase. He has no idea how to run a pick and roll. He has no idea how to get the ball to the bigs. He has never fought thru a screen in his life. He lets guys like Nate Robinson just blow by him and torch him. He gets sad when he doesn't make the all star team and it ruins his month of February.
He's easily influenced by bad influences like Stephen Jax taking him out to clubs after games. I'd be worried about Jennings in Atlanta. Way too many extracurricular activities to take part in.

They should´ve wait for Houston if they´d offer a s&t deal for J-Smoove before signing Paul Millsap... I think Smith was waiting on this one!!!
Millsap and Horford are similar in game (Millsap is a "poor man´s Al Horford" imo) therefore, I won´t wonder if they go for Brandon Jennings instead of Jeff Teague...
