You don't think a front line of Josh Smith and Andre Drummond is better than anything the Celtics had with Rondo defensively?

Garnett and Perking (pre-ACL injury)? Absolutely not. Smith isn't as smart of a defender as Garnett, not as focused and vocal. To even say that is simply ridiculous.

Garnett was like a defensive coach on the floor, calling out the opposing team's offensive plays before they even had a chance to execute them. Smith relies on his athleticism to challenge and block shots, but doesn't bring the cerebral game.

Drummond is an impact player, but Perkins was incredibly solid. Drummond still has to prove he can be a consistent stopper. You're comparing potential to production.

Be careful bro, I got screamed on for calling something utterly ridiculous such earlier, its why I chose to just tap lightly on his question.

KG was a far superior defender to Smith.

Appears to be leaning that way...unless ownership doesn't want to RT @michaelsmith: Next order of business for Boston: Trade Rondo.

This Stevens hre could be good news in our attempt to get Rondo. Most tweets are saying they expect Rondo to force a trade now. If we can sign Smith, maybe Rondo forces a trade here.
