Was hoping to see a Gay to Detroit deal today. I am disappointed and time is running out. Mayo is also about to sign with the Bucks. Dumars better get something together soon...

Garnett and Perking (pre-ACL injury)? Absolutely not. Smith isn't as smart of a defender as Garnett, not as focused and vocal. To even say that is simply ridiculous.

Garnett was like a defensive coach on the floor, calling out the opposing team's offensive plays before they even had a chance to execute them. Smith relies on his athleticism to challenge and block shots, but doesn't bring the cerebral game.

Drummond is an impact player, but Perkins was incredibly solid. Drummond still has to prove he can be a consistent stopper. You're comparing potential to production.

Be careful bro, I got screamed on for calling something utterly ridiculous such earlier, its why I chose to just tap lightly on his question.

KG was a far superior defender to Smith.

I'm fine standing behind my statement. But, thanks for the concern.

I thought the trade deadline was at the end of February?

Vincent Goodwill ‏@vgoodwill 3m
Appears to be leaning that way...unless ownership doesn't want to RT @michaelsmith: Next order of business for Boston: Trade Rondo.

This Stevens hre could be good news in our attempt to get Rondo. Most tweets are saying they expect Rondo to force a trade now. If we can sign Smith, maybe Rondo forces a trade here.

The Detroit Pistons have explored the possibility of trading for both Rajon Rondo and Rudy Gay, according to league sources.

No word if the Boston Celtics are interested in the Detroit Pistons' offer for Rajon Rondo.

I wonder what the offer was.

Really sick of Goodwill's tweets. I swear I could start a twitter account and ride the coattails of Woj and Stein as well.

To be fair, Woj is literally the first one to receive breaking news before anybody. Nearly every NBA writer just retweets or links back to him.

Stevens got a six year contract?!? Wow! That is how you let your lockerroom know who is boss and who the front office will back 100%. How many years did Cheeks sign on for two and an option?

I think his whole point is Goodwill is local, and he hardly breaks anything local.
