Steven Jackson would never be allowed to wear a Thunder t-shirt. Forget about actually being on the roster.

Billups would be a nice pick up.

S Jax is damaged goods, but it may be worth a look at the vet minimum.

Jackson/Lamb/Jackson is a pretty solid perimeter bench lineup.

That 20 minutes cuts too much into Fisher's time

well if playoff starts tomorrow and we still need a 3rd PG, fisher would still be available then i suppose?

Just don't think we need him this early yet.

Team still needs a lead assistant so Fisher could fill in that role until March and then put on a uniform.

I've been thinking about this FA question and the truth is, I'd like to have Andrei Kirilenko as a FA. It would mean the luxury tax, but that's who I would want.

Fisher has stated he doesn't want to coach..but you never know. I think Minnie may be looking to keep AK, S&T rumors have flares up again with Martin, but who knows. A few more days till the 10th.

Like what kind of rumors? What possibilities are there with a S&T with Minny?

I can't figure out how comfortable I am going into the season with the roster as is, because I know there's going to be ups and downs with Lamb. It's practically going to be his rookie season and, as is the case with almost every rookie, there's some really low lows. He's going to have 5-10 game stretches where he shoots 30%-40% from the floor and can't buy a jumper. We saw it from guys like Beal and Waiters last year, and we'll see the same thing from this year's SG crop.

But, at the same time, I want him to get minutes so he can grow and develop, and if we sign someone else they'd eat into his minutes, and that could stunt his growth. He needs to be thrown into the fire this year, but I'm also afraid that's going to cost us a few wins here and there. I mean we've seen the combination of Durant and Westbrook can be lethal enough to get us wins when everyone else struggles. There were plenty of times last year Martin was invisible (something like 2/11 shooting with his usual terrible defense) and we'd win some games, but it's still an uncomfortable thought.

I mean you have to be excited about Reggie, and I think he'll be fine, but if we don't sign someone else, OKC fans better be ready for the ups-and-downs with a virtual rookie somewhat filling Martin's role.

I can't remember the Minnie reporter I saw mention the team may need to go that route. It still might not we shall see soon.

There will be obvious growing pains with Lamb. The beauty of it though is he will have Kd and Russ, of which the Beals did not. Brooks will have to be wise, but ThunderU is back in full swing!

NT, feel the same about Lamb and Reggie, I feel much more comfortable with Reggie, but know Lamb is gonna have to play big this season. AK would be great if a s/t was open, and Gary Neal is still out there too. Wouldn't be against Gerald Henderson on the cheap either.

Yeah, like I said, there were plenty of games we still managed to win last year despite Martin being really bad and/or Perkins being even worse than usual. You put Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook on the floor and, regardless of what you surround them with, that's still a guaranteed 45-50 wins even if the rest of the supporting cast is terrible. But I feel like the rest of the supporting cast, as is, is still good enough for those extra 15 or so wins we'll need to win the West or, at the very least, finish top 3, but Lamb's growing pains could be enough to cost us the 1-seed which is somewhat worrisome.

Would i be happy with the roster come opening day?
Sure.
Would i be happy with the roster as is come playoff? Probably not.
We're better off waiting for a waiver closer to deadline i guess.
Unless we can get a veteran on damn cheap price whereby we can waive one of our other player later on.

Note: I dont think Henderson would be cheap.

I agree with that. But I think it says more about how far down the list perk is than how much Martin would help...

Hey guys, sixers fan here wondering if you guys would have any interest in Bynum? I think OKC is one of the few teams that can afford to take a risk on him, and if it pays off, can immediately become the clear-cut favorites in the West. A WB/KD/Ibaka/Bynum line-up would be dominant if he's healthy...

One S&T idea is Bynum & Evan Turner for Lamb, PJIII, Perkins, and a lottery protected 1st. Thoughts? Turner is an expiring if it doesn't work out, and Bynum would likely only get a 1-2 year deal.

OKC (going for the CHIP):

Westbrook/Turner/Jackson
Thabo/Liggins
KD/Roberson
Ibaka/Collison
Bynum/Thabeet/Orton

PHI (going for the TANK):

Carter-Williams/Anyone
Lamb/JRich/Holiday
PJIII/Kazemi
Young/Moultrie/Allen
Perkins/Hawes/Noel/Kwame
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome
