Wiggins/Parker 23ppg 3apg 7rpg 1.5spg 1.0bpg SF

So if Lebron doesnt come.. its OK.... but development of Suns youth No.1 priority for me... if they do develop... Star players will come.. if not... then someone from draft eventually.

If the team can fight hard to make it into a 7th or 8th slot this year (everything going well, obviously) that kind of "out of nowhere, damn, if I go there, we could jump right to the top" mentality would no doubt be in his mind as a possibility.

The ONLY way this happens is if LeBron sees some appeal in leading a franchise to its first NBA Championship. If that doesn't appeal to him, we'll be the first team told thanks but no thanks.

He'd probably first consider cavs if he wanted to win a franchise their first championship. The suns would be dead last.

I find this entire thread humorous.

And I am not sure which part is funnier... the people who think we actually have a chance to get him, or the people are pretending they would be upset if we did.

And why does everyone always expect our rookies to be awesome immediately? Especially when they were not even really awesome at the college level? You think people would learn that it takes rookies time to develop, especially into the type of players that a 10 year vet all star wants to rely on as teammates in the playoffs.

I would be upset. I legitimately don't like him. I would rather come close like the Nash or Barkley years with players I really liked than to win it all with someone like Lebron.

Dont want lebron on the suns. Hate everything about that person. Im probably in the miniority but i dont want him anywhere near the suns reguardless of how good he is.

You boys focusing on the little picture need to go to the drive for the big screen. Cap Space isn't reserved for free agents. Essentially any star on the screen can be had if you have the room, find the need, and devise the way. Heck of a lot easier to trade for guys if you don't have to match salary. :wizard:

A significant part of the reason why i am a Suns fan for 20 years is that it has always been about basketball in Phoenix. Good or bad - it's about the game i grew up loving to the bone. The only thing LeClown can bring to this team is soap drama, flopping and games, handed by the refs. If ever the Suns get the title, i'd like it to be won with good basketball, good coaching and team play, not because one of the main actors in the NBA-drama is on the roster. Honestly, i'd have Kobe on the Suns 10000 times before LeClown...at least Kobe actually IS a real basketball player.

Trust me nobody in their right mind would decline LeBron James from joining their team.

Everyone talks smack now but trust me if the time came, they would all get excited about it.

I remember Rockets fans hated Dwight and all the drama he kept bringing....then once he decided to sign with them he is now a great player and the favorite player of many.

And Dwight is MUCH worse than LeBron.

Lebron has won the last 2 championships and the Heat are by FAR the favorite to win again this year ESPECIALLY if they attract a few more solid veteran free agents for cheap who want to chase a ring. The only way he opts out in 2014 is for:

1. A larger deal
2. A smaller deal (to attract another key free agent)
3. The heat to sign another major free agent (and then Lebron re-signs so the Heat can go over the cap)

Lebron and Wade aren't going anywhere. They are healthy, they are wining, they live in an awesome city with awesome weather, and they have silenced their critics.
