I was at a bar across the street from it a few weeks ago on a Staurday and the girls lined up to get in looked good (and very drunk) and the crowd seemed to have a good vibe. I'll probably go there on a Saturday sometime this summer, let me know how it is .
Didn't want to make a thread about this as it could be a sensitive topic. I consider myself an average religious person, I am open minded (some of my closest friends are Atheists) and have nothing against Atheists or people from other religions. My mindset is respect other's beliefs or non-beliefs while expecting the same in return.
So I cam across this article: http://news.yahoo.com/atheists-unveil-fla-monument-near-ten-commandments-195201537.html
Basically an Atheist group putting a monument in a courthouse because that courthouse has a monument of the Ten Commandments. If you don't believe in a higher being, then you really don't have a "symbol". So it seems like they put that monument just to stroke their ego and irritate others. And that's when I have a problem with these groups, they want to look down on religious people, constantly attacking people who believe in a higher being instead of doing their own thing and leaving religious people alone. I know that it goes the other way too as some religious people try to shove their beliefs down people's throat.
Whole point is religions have symbols, this nation once upon a time was highly religious so some religion symbols still reside in public places. What's the point of people who don't believe in anything to put a "symbol" there?
