Yeah, saw that. He's basically done at this point in his career, but he could provide something as Kawhi's backup. I see him fitting in well on this team too for whatever reason.

We really don't need another guard, that's really why we're pulling Neal's QO.

Cory Joseph has done a decent job as backup and should only get better.

According to Marc Stein on Twitter, the San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Hawks and New Orleans Pelicans had representatives at Greg Oden’s latest workout in Indianapolis today.

Oden will decide which team he’ll sign with sometime within the next week. In addition to the 3 teams who attended his workout, the Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings and Miami Heat are also interested in the former Portland Trailblazers #1 draft pick.

The Atlanta Hawks would likely represent the most immediate playing time for Greg Oden, but other teams could give him the chance to work his way back into the NBA at a slow and steady pace. Of course that depends on how well his knees hold up through training camp and the season.

That’s really one thing that has held this big man down, are the knee problems. If he’s serious about winning a championship, can stay and remain healthy (which could be a problem with a guy his size and his history), then the Miami Heat or San Antonio Spurs could be the favorite to sign Oden.

Because we gave him a long deal. Was hoping we could ship him and De Colo for another guy (Ariza T_T), but doubtful at this point.

We got a guy saying that Manu was a role player during the spurs championship runs.
Also compared him to Anthony parker.

Eh, I don't think I'll bother. People's arguments tend to be based on barely seeing someone play, what they read and hear other people say, and blind ignorance. Never a good combination to evaluate a player's accomplishments/ability.

After the poor showing in the Finals, I kind of expect the haters to come out of the woodwork anyway. People seem to assess players based on the last thing they did rather than taking in their entire career.
