Some playoff team will put in a bid of $2mil. Hes not worth what the Lakers are paying him, but hes worth at least a little bit. Detroit would never put in a bid for him. Unless it was too unleash Sheed on him.

It's a slap in the face to bring in a guy who literally "slapped a fan in the face". Too many bad memories associated with this guy. Otherwise he is a good defender who would add a lot to a team.
Pistons vs. Warriors in the Finals in 2017 - With KCP hitting a game winner so the Pistons dont get swept.

For the record, one of our fans did throw a beer on him, and Ben Wallace blatantly pushed him in the face to start the whole thing. He would be great as our backup SF. It's nice to play fantasy GM :-)

News articles quoting his dad (and possibly his agent) indicate that he's only willing to sign to the NY Knicks, Brooklyn Nets or LA Clippers if he's forced off of the Lakers. His #1 choice would be the Knicks. They're claiming that he'll retire if none of these teams become a choice for him. And don't forget, NYC is his hometown. He grew up in the Queensbridge housing projects right across the East River from the Madison Square Garden & Manhattan. He also played college ball at St. John's in Queens.

Both of those events did occur. But what also occurred was a hard and unneccesary foul in the play leading up to Ben's shove. For as tough as BW played for us I've never seen him react that way towards another player; so I'm fairly certain MWP's behavior warranted it.

Also, you forgot to mention MWP trying to act like the victim in the fracas (that he started) right before the beer being thrown. He had taken himself and sprawled across the scorer's table with his eyes closed. I tend to believe that if he hadn't done this that no beer would have been tossed.

And even though I'm a Pistons fan, Jermaine O'Neal's slide punch was epic. Right out of Street Figher 2!

He's officially amnestied now... A few teams on the border of having capspace might want him for a min deal... Will be interesting to see what happens.
