What concerns me is the whole Kobe scenario. They ARE gunning for a big FA next offseason because Kobe's time is quickly running out. Kobe is going to push them and we might end up with an average team with no chance of contending, just to appease him.

This whole thing with Paul Pierce and KG goes to show that loyalty is not the be all and end all, and in some situations legacy might not be all that its cracked up to be, especially if a legendary player still has something left in the tank but the team is not equipped for anything substantial.

The Lakers and Kobe might come to a mutual agreement and Kobe might end up on another team. He is out of his prime, but he is still one of the best players in the league, he's a top 5 player in the league at 34. It more than likely WONT happen due to his marketability but there is still a possibility.

The Lakers need to change their culture and start looking to ground up roster development in order to secure a better future. The Lakers will always have the distinct advantage of being able to lure big ticket free agents, but whats to say we can't draft well on top of that?

IM SAYIN we have ZERO chance at LeBron. the guy is a back to back champion. There is no need to look for a winner, hes already got it. Miami just needs to tweak their roster and their good. So LeBron aint leavin that situation....now if they had lost and NOT won any titles down there in Miami, then a possibility. But they've got their 2...so hes stayin put.

What may be interesting, is if teams are doing real bad come trade deadline time, does Pau's expiring start looking better to try to clear cap space... And do guys that seem destined to bolt like Love and Rondo start hitting the market...

There are tons of critiques in regards to Jim Buss/Mitch etc...But one thing can be said...they have a plan! Don't know if that plan is going to work...but they sure as hell are stickin to it. So lets go down that road and find out. CAPSPACE HEAVEN is where we are headed! Lets see whats at the end of the rainbow, and IM HOPING, we can snatch at least 2 LEGIT STARs in the process.

What if John Wall forces the Wizards hand and tells them he will test FA by not signing an extension. Can he be a guy that you would want or he isn't worth all the money.

No young rfa due potentially maxmoney is that stupid, especially since he has an injury history. Do people seriously think guys like Wall or PG in 2014 are more than wild fantasy?

It's a question. No need to get your pannies in a wad. You calling out people for asking a question doesn't make you any smarter, but closed minded

Wanna know how new NBA world works? With essentially same payroll as Lakers last season, Nets will owe$70+ mil in tax after 2013-14 season
