Nurse emphasizes a fast-paced, attacking style of offence and his teams regularly placed in the top 3 in offensive rating, scoring and pace throughout his NBDL tenure.

He sounds like an offensive coach! I much prefer my next head coach to be defensive gurus( i.e. Thibodeau, Vogel..) and no fake defensive coach like Casey!!

Thanks Rhett. Outside of Ross, Stone, Jonas, and Quncy, have no idea who the rest are haha.

It is nice to see Stone on the team though; curious in what Masai sees in him, so we will find out soon.

Isn't Alade Aminu the brother of Al-Farouq Aminu? Also, Coby Karl is the son of George Karl. That's all I've got and besides Jonas, Acy, Ross and Stone I couldn't recognize anyone else.

On the positive tip, our guys should get lots of burn here. On the negative, I was hoping we'd audition some possible frontcourt depth. If we're actually trying to compete at all, I suspect the starting 5 is:
Karl
Stone
Ross
Acy
Val

I don't think this team will get very far with the new format.

Trevor Mbakwe is Minnesota college player who was supposed to be drafted but is 24. Pretty much think he'll get a camp invite and a shot at a roster spot. PG Coby Karl is an intriguing addition. PG Jordan Taylor undrafted Wisconsin badger.

Trevor Mbakwe.

"His health causes some concerns after multiple knee surgeries and problems … Has had multiple run-ins with the law (accused of assault in 2009, violated restraining order in 2011, suspended for DUI in 2012)…

Overall: Mbakwe is an explosive, high-energy player who can turn offensive rebounds into put-backs and alter shots and rebound defensively, but his age, health, and legal trouble will likely drop him to the mid second round area …" -nbadraft.net
