He's in the way, It was a trade just to get him out of there and off payroll IMO.

In the way of what? Signing Zaza Pachulia?

They guy is a VERY good defender and is only making a little over 4 mill. Not exactly a big cap hold.

Kemba + Ellis would be far worse of a combo than Curry+Ellis or Jennings+Ellis ever were....IMO.

It would be hilarious if the Cavs signed Bynum, he played the entire season, and they knocked the Heat out in the ECF and won the championship. So far fetched but just fun to entertain the thought.

In the way of the SF's and PF's. He's the main reason they Skiles refused to play Tobias, he's a big part of the reason Sanders didn't get a ton of minutes earlier.

I doubt they want history repeating itself again. They signed Delfino, which means there would be a high probability that Giannis would end up as the 3rd string SF, Luc also steals minutes at PF from Henson.

It would be even more hilarious if the Magic signed Bynum, he played the entire season and the Magic knocked the Heat out of the ECF and the Rockets out of the NBA finals on their way to a Ship!!!

Imagine that, getting Vucci, Hark, AA plus those picks and still getting Bynum in the end.

Yep. Even with Hill's ankle problems that team would have been a contender to come out of the East every year.

Doesn't help to speculate of course, what happened, happened.

I'm pretty happy with the direction of the current team.

I think they are discussing lowering his buyout. If Turk does that, then the Magic would release him and allow him to go to another team. Otherwise, he sits here... gets his $12M but doesn't see a minute on the floor. That's the only thing that comes to my mind. ... or maybe give him an office job if he lowers the amount? :roll:
