Its because I remember back in the day when Jim originally was given the reigns to start making moves he was penny pinching and ready to waste all of Kobe's prime because he was focusing on the 2011 Free agency that had Lebron, Melo, Wade and Bosh heading that class. You guys remember that? It wasnt until Kobe went on his trade me tirade that Jerry took back the reigns of the team and Mitch pulled the Gasol trade that very season. This is really sounding like deja vu all over again. We havent even begain fielding a roster yet

I'm no fan of Jimmy but jeez come on now.

It seems you were a fly on the wall for many of those private conversations. I have been trying to find out the day the reigns were handed over as i dont believe there was an official ceremony.

Jimmy certainly takes the blame for the bad while his deceased father still gets the credit for Laker successes as is obviously apparent from reading the post above.

You hit the nail on the Head. Lakes sucked some many reasons but the main issue was lack of direction. Being in those bright lights did not help but too many questions. I can't fault him for choosing Houston but thought GSW would have been a better fit. Sad that it never really got off the ground.

Shaul is back lmaoooooo... For those of you who dont know who Shaul is a Laker fan who used to do suits I believe for the Buss family at one time. He calls into Max and Marcellus periodically to give his opinion of the team
