The Rondo thing is junk, posted from a fake Simmons account. The Monta rumor seems unfortunately genuine though.

I guess they thought bringing in Jefferson wasn't quite enough to kill the rebuild, so might as well bring in Ellis while we're being so short-sighted.

Sorry guys I was fooled the Rajon Rondo trade was fake. But, back to the the Ellis situation, I really don't get why we need him. Ellis and Al = Terrible defense.

I don't think there are anymore proven 3-point threats on the free agency market now. Time to move on and try to find some undrafted free agents for the low. Personally I'm content with going into the season with what we have by just retaining both Hendo and Adrien, then going after a UDFA like Dwight Buycks on OKC's summer team for 3rd string PG.

I kind of like Phil Pressey as a third stringer. He's a little wild but dude can play the position. Can't remember if he was drafted in the 2nd round or not. I think we should sign Scott Wood for our Matt Carroll role.

Pressey went undrafted but I doubt that his hometown Celtics would let him walk when their roster is so depleted at the moment. If so I wouldn't mind since I've been vouching for trying to get a 2nd rounder to draft him.

Nevertheless that Buycks guy has been impressive for his 2nd straight year of summer league. I like Buycks size and I remember him playing SG at Marquette a few years back but he's showing off his court vision lately. He had 13 assist in the 1st SL game where he didn't have to split almosr all his minutes with Reggie Jackson. I want him as our 3rd string PG. He's no chopped liver and he would graciously appreciate the opportunity. I doubt that he make the Thunder roster unless Fisher finally wants to retire.

I like Buycks but I like someone like Pressey more b/c he's a pass first kind of guy. Ramon and Kemba love to score so it would be nice to have a Rubio facilitator type just for a change of pace.

I would like it if we could land either or. Buycks has been showing the ability to distribute the ball in this summer league. He's averaging 7 assist in 23 minutes. The Celtics aren't letting Pressey walk.

Is Scott Machado still tied to the Rockets?

He would be a perfect change of pace third string PG.

I think he was with the Warriors in the playoffs and I'm pretty sure they let him go.

I wanted him last year, and still do

Didn't know that, we should definitely give him a look in.

Third stringer for the minimum who is pass first.

win-win.

Dallas has reached agreement on a two-year, $5-million plus deal with free agent guard Wayne Ellington, league sources tell Y! Sports.

If for some reason Hendo bolts we will have a revolving door at SG. Won't be much left

the odds of him getting booed by his own fans during the next season are pretty good.

Man - he'll be heckled unmercifully. Zero patience in NYC and hyper knowledgeable fans.

I really rooted for Tyrus in the beginning. If things clicked, he could be a very good player. He just seems like one of those guys that never caught up with the speed of the game - always seemed a bit bewildered on the court. I hope the same fate doesn't befall guys like S. Adams this year.

Bynum is going to the Cavs on a two year deal, $12M each year, second year only half guaranteed. I don't think him and Varejao together manage 82 games between them.
