Iggy meeting with Mark Jackson/Players During Denver Series

Post#1 » by pickIBL » Wed Jul 10, 2013 5:00 am

Sounds pretty bad right? Iggy meeting with head coach Mark Jackson several times during the Warriors/Nuggets playoff series. All you guys that got on Danny Green for meeting at a club after the series was over must really be steamed about this!!

I mean meeting right after the series isn't exactly great... but during the heat of the action with a series going on... even in the age of Lebron James (real superstars like Magic, Bird, and Jordan would never do this) and players being friendly... that is blasphemy.

I'm sure you are all enraged right now and wondering where are all the articles calling Iggy out on this are at. But see the thing is... Iggy was meeting Mark and company at chapel... so even guys like Woj are afraid to touch this.

Iggy ought to be held accountable for this. Denver fans deserved better.

I highly doubt they would pass up a story like this.

Iguodala is the one "rumored" to have told Mark Jackson he wasn’t on-board with Denver’s roughing up Curry during the playoffs.

How do rumors get started, they're started by the jealous people and They get mad seein' somethin' they had and sombody else is holdin'

uh if "the fan" there is anything like "the fan" in Dallas then its a couple of idiots who know nothing about sports trying to stir up fake controversy for ratings. You need something a lot more solid than a couple of wacky FM guys.

Yeah man this era stinks remember the good ol' days when people were tougher? Man, I sure miss those days. Back then, NOBODY was like this. Nowadays, people are just going around doing whatever they want. Back then it wasn't like that. Back then it was better. Those days are long gone, though. These days just aren't the same. I wish they were because MAN do I miss 'em. I'd do anything to bring back the good ol' days.

Disappointing if true. Iggy has always been hard worker and class act, but this doesn't reflect well.

Wait, the title makes it sound like they were meeting to discuss basketball.

Is this all about going to mass together? This has nothing to do with them "meeting" but rather just attending chapel together.

Players meet right after games all the time to do a quick prayer before leaving the court. Nothing wrong with that. If they were meeting to discuss his basketball future, that is a whole 'nother story.

Probably true, Mark Jackson did say that he had a mole. I guess now we know that it was Iguodala. Shame really.

star players don't chill with the opposing team during a playoff series... at least they didn't... and if they do now... I got no respect for them. Iggy is also religious and turned down more money for the warriors "culture" that he learned all about during the NBA playoffs while getting his butt kicked.

Brandon Krisztal ‏@BK1043 5 Jul
Not surprised @Andre is going to GS, before GM 1, @dempseypost & I saw him go to pre-game "Chapel" w/ several Warriors & Mark Jackson

Krisztal and Demspey are both radio guys in Denver. Chris Dempsey also writes for the Denver Post. I think they're fairly credible.
