He showed a jump shot last game. Also, him getting a jumpshot is more likely than his arms getting longer. So while getting a faceup game is a hypothetical, that he will be undersized as a C is a fact based on reality. Looking at him side by side with Toko, he doesn't even look that much taller than Toko.

Toko is rumoured to be 6'10 now so he seems to still be growing. It looks like Brooklyn has Toko on a weights program to add bulk, maybe they see him as more of a PF instead of a SF.

That's interesting. I've noticed his Point Forward skill set is being put to use more. I hope he will split minutes with Bogdanovic at Small Forward since there is no room for him to be a PF.

I am in favor of Kidd utilizing his skill set as well, if he can learn to use his length and strength to his advantage he could be a great assest to have coming off the bench.
OKC Thunder fan, too.

The problem is Toko has a habit of getting himself in trouble. In transition, he's really good at it. But in a half-court setting, him putting the ball on the floor typically resulted in turnovers.

Thats just it. He's raw as hell but has the physical tools for a good player, problem is the only real thing he does well right now is pass the ball & make good moves/decisions in transition.

He needs to keep using his strengths rather than trying to hit 3 pointers. I want him cutting to the basket, setting hard screens and rolling to the basket constantly because he makes good decisions with the ball close to the basket in the half court.

Toko can't shoot, so he shouldn't be shooting until it's a consistent stroke. He's been solid defensively but again this is against summer league players, we'll see how he does with the big boys.

Toko looks naturally bigger than most of the guys in the summer league that play the 3/4 spots... So i'll believe both the suggested growth spurt and the added weight.....

My concern now is the NETs brass actually thinking of making him into a PF which I believe he isn't suited for naturally.

Big supporter for Toko and the lack of game time playing/experience shows in his drives to the basket and decision making on both O n D.... I think he can improve with vets so I still hold hope...

He shouldn't try hitting 3 pointers until he can start to knock them down at a decent clip.

He needs to focus on what he is good at. There is an opportunity for him to get a role on the Brooklyn team as a hustle energy guy off the bench to help keep pierce rested playing some minutes along with Bogdanovic.

The thing is though... if he is ever going to see consistent minutes in the NBA he is going to need to either develope a solid 3 point shot, or become a PF. im fine with him taking 3's in summer league... thats what its for... to improve. im fine with 1-10 and losing games because they dont matter and this is his time to develop that sort of thing.

Him getting 8 transition dunks vs. undersized guys likely to be d-league scrubs soon doesnt really translate to the NBA. I like that he added size and i like that he (hopefully) is trying to improve his range

I wish we had spent some cash to buy a late 1st to take Gobert, it would've been worth the risk. He's raw but his tools are just insane, he just stuck his arms straight up and down at the rim and blocked a shot by a Brooklyn player.

We should trade this roster to Boston for our picks back.

This is a great group of tankers.

Someone hand Carlton Scott and Haggins a job application to McDonalds.

That is where they're headed if they can both box out Jeremy Evans.

Neto is a nice player, it's the same old story with him. He was the starting PG in the ACB in Spain for San Sebastian and was a depth PG for Brazil at the 2012 Olympics so he's a professional. When you look at all these guys you can see how much more polished Neto is compared even to Taylor.

Euros in the 2nd round are great options. Some really good players went late or mid 2nd round in the draft.
