What would we give up for him? Not the biggest fan of monta but hes a good scorer and can shoot.

I feel like everything we've done thus far suggests we aren't interested in Monta.

The fact that he's dissatisfied with his agent isn't going to make us more interested.

I think Middleton can play some 2 honestly.

I just hope we put a shooter in the starting lineup. Don't give it to Stuckey just because he's been around the longest. KCP or Middleton are much better options.

I guess this thread needs a BigShot update :-)

As our roster stands now (I still think we make another move or two), this is the rotation I'd like to see.

B. Knight/R. Stuckey
C. Billups/K. Caldwell-Pope
J. Smith/L. Datome/K. Singler or K. Middleton
G. Monroe/J. Smith/T. Mitchell
A. Drummond/G. Monroe

We gotta stop with the "ughs" guys, its never serious enough to talk like a cast member of teen mom.

That said, on topic. Chauncey will start & then backup Knight some & play alongside KCP. KCP was drafted high & is expected to have a substantial impact.

Bynum will play some backup PG mins & Stuck will play some backup 2 mins.

Jerebko for JRich and a 2nd?

I bet Philly would seriously consider that. JRich is a 37% career 3pt shooter, and would help solidify the position.

If there's no better options, I'd give that room exception to Rip. By themselves Rip and Chauncey may not have much left, but together as a duo off the bench for 15-20 mpg against 2nd teamers, I think they could be really effective. With Chauncey and Sheed to police the locker room I doubt Rip would be a problem. We only have 2.6 mil left to spend and do need shooters. Rip may be the best we can do and he can shoot. He'd also be able to teach KCP some of those Reggie Miller tricks how to get open off screens.

Knight, KCP, Chauncey, and Rip would be a pretty nice backcourt to compliment Drummond, Monroe, and Smith up front. All four guards can shoot and a nice blend of experienced vets and athletic youth.

Im confused here. Didn't we draft pope to be our SG? Start him, right off the bat.

Problem-solution.

What I'd like to see:

PG - Knight / Billups
SG - KCP / Middleton
SF - Smith / Singler / Datome
PF - Monroe / Smith / Mitchell
C - Drummond / Monroe

Victory cigars = Bynum, Stuckey, Jerebko, CV, Kravtsov
Overseas = Siva

I think it should come down to KCP and Middleton, let them battle it out during pre-season.

if KCP isn't ready and we go with KM we'd probably have to move BK to SG and start Stuck at the point when we play teams with smaller, quicker SGs.

I think Billups or Singler will start at SG. It's also possible that they start Stuckey to inflate his trade value. I don't see KCP starting off the bat unfortunately.
