Until Detroit proves otherwise, they are not a playoff team.

Depends on how we round out the roster, we could be anywhere from 6-10th if no additional moves are made

Very possible due to how many teams are tanking this year. The East is terrible and somebody has to make it.

Pointing out our flaws is kinda ridiculous since we don't exist in a vacuum and there are certainly teams with more substantial concerns than us. If Knight starting is our biggest problem then we're actually in decent shape compared to the field.

Outside of Rasheed, do we know who are assistants are yet? Cheeks has never been known as a big X and Os guy.

John (Hexham, England): Apart from Rasheed Wallace joining the staff, what is the latest on who is coming with Maurice Cheeks?

Langlois: Maz Trakh, who was in Oklahoma City with Cheeks, ran the team in Summer League, John. With him were Bernard Smith, who was with Cheeks in both Portland and Philadelphia, and John Loyer, who was on Lawrence Franks’ Pistons staff but before that served under Cheeks in both places, as well. Wallace, of course, joined up in time for Monday’s Summer League game. There is likely one more hire to come.

Maz Trakh is probably the Xs and Os guy.

It's hard to picture us not a playoff team. We should be a very low scoring team that prevents everyone from scoring too. Chemistry might take a little getting used to. Dre, KCP, Datome must continue to acclimate to the NBA and the rest of the team needs to learn to play together but we will DEFINITELY slip into the 7th or 8th seed.

Well be 5-8 but it gets worse if we don't make any decent moves.

I would love to be that surprise team in the playoffs who knocks off the Nets.
